I havent dove into the manga yet, but the ending left me kinda empty. ok sure
she found love, and now it looks like every other PC can too. but what about
just a hint more about Chi and Hideki? I guess the manga is the only way for me
to be satisifed about what happend to the two of them.
the chobits anime ending was ok to me
but i like the manga ending better..
guess clamp's work usually got screwed in the end huh?
same goes for cardcaptor sakura..
me a bit sad here~~
til' now, i don't understand chobits' story. what's with the two little
dollies?..and uh, freya?.. stuff.. =_= i have to watch it over again. coz i
didnt really get it
It all depends on which ending you're referring to... the anime or the
manga?
In retrospect, the anime ending was fairly poor. There were a lot of loose ends
and things left unexplained. It was heartwarmin to know that Chii was back to
her normal self and lived happily ever after with Hideki, but from a personal
standpoint, it was not satisfying at all.
On the other hand, the manga ending fared far better. The existance of the
Government 'Coms was actually explained, as well as a better coverage of what
Chii's special power was and what her "feelings" were.
Overall, I "felt" more for the manga than the anime, something that
often happens with in CLAMP anime adaptations.
I liked ending as well I as I like the manga ending I just wished they wouldve
showed a bit after everything has been settled. As Kawaiiguy stated Clamp
manga's endings have more of an impact to me than their anime adaptations.

but i was a tad upset about hidaki not being able to have sex with chii, that's
really unsettleing.
Oh come on! It's not that type of series! Anyway, consider the age differences,
I mean, children is wacthing that man! Its a sweet comedy, not a porno.
*pervert* XP
Anyway, the whole series, or at least the pheneomenon of the Chobits, were a
complete mystery through the whole series, and then they tried to tie up all the
lose ends up on the roof just before Chi runs the program. And then explain why
everything turned out differntly after she ran the program. Exacly what those
other two persocons' loyalties or agendas was is also somewhat clouded. The guy
seemed merely interested and curious.
Considering Hideki's love for Chi (or their love for each other) I think it was
a good ending since she recovered and didn't just dissapear. Therfore I think
the ending was good in the sense that everybody was happy, but not in the sense
that they explained anything well enough.
sex does not
=porn! and im no pervert(yes i am but not now!) let me rephrase that make love
to his lover. and were kids watching with all the nudeity and sex refrences?
remember chii FIRST job. hmmmm? i think sex is a form of love, no the ultimate
form of love. that's what it think...once again im no perv!
Mmmmm......I can't say it was the best or the worse.^_^ I can say it is OK only.
Cause there are some bads and goods about the ending. I only like the
song.HAHA.^_^
I thought thending was okay. I wish they would have brought the characters of
Zima and Dita into the story sooner. They just seem to show up about half way
through.
fine ending. all personcoms had upgrade to hight lever of emotion after Chii run
her program - look that way, well i just watch anime.
about jima and tida well look like they have there own system emotion just like
human so they can ignore mission by curiousness,
about memory of chii before she met Hidaki, well look like she was complete
erese data, so she can't recovert it
The ending was good it went from sad to happy and *finally* Hideki hugs Chii
<3. I wish they would make another episode to show Hideki and Chii's future
which wasn't explained in the manga. =|

yea it was okai, but the OVA was funny and makeup for the chobits
ending
Aren't those the "half episodes"? I've seen them on sale. Unless
anyone is againt spoilers, what happens there?
there are three ova episodes 1)between episodes 9-10 (called 9.5 episode) its
bacially a recap of what happened. it shows shimbo and sumomo (SO cute )
ans they just talk and show through what happened when hideki came, found chi,
opened her, etc. however the episode ends before all the drama starts (chi gets
lost, the memories, etc.)2) between episodes 13-14 (a 13.5 episode) and this is
the continuation of 9.5 it shoes kukobonje (can't spell XP) and his persacom
(Yuzuki) and they talk about how chi gets lost, the whole beach scene, the
'game' scene and bascially that chi and hideki came through it 3) the 24.5
episodes (after the last one) shows ms. hibaya and kyoto and they're waiting for
hideki and chi to come home ('cause they're off to see if hideki finnaly passed
and made it to college) and they talk about how chi has evovled, found the one
just for her and i guess, the ending...it was a recap. howver, i luv the ending
of 24.5 it shows everybody grown up (shinbo is taller than ms.
shimuzu yay! ), kukobonje is all grown up and handsome too ^.~ and yumi+her
boyfriend (the guy from the bakery..don't remember his name ) and it seems tht hideki did pass after all and while, holding chi's hand,
she smiles and her and walks towards his friends.
*whew* this is bascially the ending/ova summary^^ if i messed up a part, or
whatevah, plase feel free to correct me^^ i just luv this series....Chi is so
adorable ~Chi~
Well I im satisfied with the ending, since it was all around "the one for
me" it should have (and had) a happy ending. The whole manga left a fuzzy
feeling inside . To
be honest im very childish when it comes to Anime/Manga ^^' and I dislike
unhappy events (like when Chi was kidnapped) GAH !
I havent dove into the manga yet, but the ending left me kinda empty. ok sure she found love, and now it looks like every other PC can too. but what about just a hint more about Chi and Hideki? I guess the manga is the only way for me to be satisifed about what happend to the two of them.

I think the ending is a little shoret because there was not enough time to show what had happened after hideki and chii were together again...
Mmmmm......I can't say it was the best or the worse.^_^ I can say it is OK only. Cause there are some bads and goods about the ending. I only like the song.HAHA.^_^
I love Che-chan she so cute
The end of chobits is very impression it's a happy ending
che chan and Hideki live togather
I thought thending was okay. I wish they would have brought the characters of Zima and Dita into the story sooner. They just seem to show up about half way through.

about memory of chii before she met Hidaki, well look like she was complete erese data, so she can't recovert it
again i must add that there was not enough yumi
i think it ended the right way. not too sad, not too happy, it makes you 'think' for a second.
The ending was good it went from sad to happy and *finally* Hideki hugs Chii <3. I wish they would make another episode to show Hideki and Chii's future which wasn't explained in the manga. =|
not really but the story was awsome kinda thing ... made me laugh acouple of times hehehe
yes i like the ending

the ending was ok. there's nothing really much to develop in this anime. don't get me wrong i love chobits.

. To

the anime ending seemed a little rushed to me, and left some plot holes unanswered
but it did get me curious enough to dig about for the manga
i have to say i liked it, it fit with the story, and it tied everything together nice... so yea...
for me it was kind a sad...but it was very good
it was ok...personalli i think its kinda sad but at the same time i reali dont know...its a complicated feeling...lubed the story until th3e ending..
It was quite acceptable.. Rather than CLAMP's X (This one sucx big time)
