Well...Hmmm...*having a flashback* Ahh....*drooling*...
Oops! Hmm, I started out by watching DBZ when I was a wee lad, which is actually
when I was 5, 1995. And then from there I started reading mangas as well, which
led to me watching the anime version of them mangas, and so on and so forth!
Long live anime!
anyway i had an interest a bit in japanese animation, seeing as i watched Sailor
Moon and other shows that were on TV
anyway was in a play with local theatre group last year and one of the guys said
he was into anime, anyway eventually invited me over to his place one day and
showed me some anime such as Bleach and others, hehe and got more interested
into it after that, soon after i bought VOl 1 of ROD TV with bookbox and soon
went on from there
Hehe.. it was a friend's fault, who I know over the Internet. He lives in
Canada, and he kept telling me about Gundam Seed/Seed Destiny. This was about 4
months ago, and it hasn't been long since I purchased my first Anime product,
either. Just gotta wait until I can finish the series of GS, now..
I grew up with Animes too! It looks like animes have always been part of my
life! I don't remember how was my life without anime and why I started!
I think that when I was a child the best "cartoons" on Italian TVs
(I'm Italian :p) were japanese cartoons....and all children were watching those
at that time! Disney cartoons were less popular
I started watching with Toonami's Midnight Run back when it had DBZ because I
was an Insomniac. From there it ballooned to looking for anime in blockbuster.
Only recently have I started watching fansubs.
when i was 7 both my sister and i started to watch sailor moon every sunday
morning on channel 17 and whenever i did research on it i usually stumble across
other anime than i find out about the other anime that i have found when i was
researching sailor moon and before you know i start buying the manga of the
anime that ive found so yeah thats how it started
when i was young, around 4 or so, i used to watch anime like transformers or
sailor moon. didn't realize i was watching anime so around 7th grade i really
got into it when one of my brother's friends let us borrow some of his anime
dvds
It started with DBZ when I was 5, then I completely stopped watching anime for
several years----->Began watching Yu Yu Hakusho and Kenshin on Toonami (I
thought "Hey, this isnt too bad)----->Made the jump to [adult swim], got
my first dose of FLCL (my very first anime WTF!?! moment), watched other [as]
anime------>Members of the Japan club of the high school that I had moved to
led me to bit torrent...the rest is history
i strated to like anime when i saw my borther and sister watching it when i was
6 yrs old.. we loved daimos and voltez v so much and after those anime there
were lots of anime shown on other channels so that how it started.... ^_^
It started to interest me much more when one of my frens actually introduced me
to anime fansubs available on the net, although I was quite into manga/anime
ever since I can read, since all my family members read manga & watch any
available anime on local tv stations.
When I visited my grandparents place, I watched a bit of Gundam Wing, Speed
Racer, and Dragonball Z (I don't have cable at home). That's not only the reason
for me getting into anime, but also the reason I am stuck onto the Gundam
franchise.
well, it was because of my brother
he was watching angelic layer and i thought :"wow, that's amazing!"
and then, i started to see al kinds of anime like a crazy! =)
of course, when i was little i remember to see anime like db and sailormoon, but
i was too small to realise how cool anime was!
My friend showed me an episod of trigun and I wanted to see more after that
My brother roped me into watching Record of Lodess War and then Naruto and thus the addiction to anime came

My sister was a anime lover and she had tons of manga and anime.First I read ccs and totally LOVED it. Now I read any manga I can get my hands on.
For me it's with "Le Club Dorothée" a French emission. The first anime I've seen is Dragon Ball (and Sailor Moon, Candy Candy, Les chevaliers du Zodiaques, Princesse Sarah, ...) when I was a child.
Aaaah ... It was the best time in my life ^^
Now, there aren't really good anime on the television -___- ...
Ah yes, Dragon Ball ... If I've never seen it, I never began to draw ... so Thank you Akira Toriyama ^^
PS : sorry for my bad english
