i like it, the books are a lot of fun to read
i thought the movies were alright; i didn't really like the third one though

I really enjoyed the first movie. I thought the second one was awfull, the third was ok, and the most recent movie was lame. On the whole, I'm not too impressed.

I like Harry Potter books more than the movies OX because I think that there's some sort of magic in the way JK Rowling describes things and the way she creates characters (they seem so real sometimes when you read the books, that you forget that they're all part of her imagination) and that parts gets lost most of the time in the movies. Maybe it's the way Daniel Radcliffe acts, he doesn't have a real talent and Rupert Grint does >.<, so I can foresee that Daniel will be a normal average actor, Emma Watson it's a normal one too and Rupert will be a good actor in the future (he IS Ron I can see him in the books and I can't see the others two in that way when I pick up a book or watch one of the movies), they're all childs still, but you can see a talent in the screen shining like a jewel in a deep ocean, and I can see that jewel only in Rupert :o in the three of them (the same way I saw it in Tom Hanks when I was a child and laugh a lot with his comedies and the same way I see it in Halley Joel Osment and Dakota Fanning in the present).

The new Harry Potter movie is really good, and considering I don't even like Harry Potter, that is saying something

Yeah! I do like it very much since the very first time i saw the movie (philosopher's stone) and read the books!

i used to think what's all the big deal about harry potter!

but recently i borrowed the book from a friend and started reading. i must admit it's quite entertaining, for a children's book.

of course it's still far beyond the level of famous fantasy writers like david eddings, harry potter is more erm.. how should i say.. more meant for kids.

having said that though i still get enjoyment outta reading the books. some of the movies i've watched though didn't exactly bring out the flavor of the book, but well, it's commendable..

good enough i would say.. for light reading..

I own all the books out and the first 3 movies, I have yet to see the 4th >.<
But yea, me likes it, x3

actually im not fan of harry potter, but i liked the new movie i guess i like magic XP

i like it, the movies are ok but the the book are better ^^
i've seen the 4th film, wanna watch it again ^^

I have to admit that at the beginning I didn't want to know anything about Harry Potter, but then I rent the movie and I like it. Then I started reading the books and I like them.
So yes, now I can say proudly that I like Harry Potter. XD.

Ok, i finally broke down, and rented all three of the movies. I was really surprised, was expecting a light and fluffy kids story. It was actually very complicated and really entertaining.

pAH! i hate harry pofta

I HATE that guy he is just so layme man i wish i can kill him.........................

I probably the only one here who HATES Harry Potter. Why? All of my friends are soo obsessed over it and one of the main foucuses of when I hang out with them is HARRY POTTER and I know nothing about it. It gets to annoying. >< Maybe if I wasn't introduced to it that way, then I'd like it.

Oh, wow. I just looked above my reply and saw hatered! YAY!

Personally, I really enjoy the Harry Potter book series. The HP book 5 was my favorite thus far. The movies in general have struck me as wanting in some parts, but I understand that because of the size of the books and the subject matter, there were definitely things they had to leave out. And although I've most often heard otherwise, my favorite of the movies was PRizoner of Azkaban, mainly because it wasn't quite so by-the-book, which I'm normally against. It was a little awkward to see the characters moving so freely through a completely different set, but again, the movie on the whole left me without that feeling of something missing. The fourth movie was decent, but wouldn't make as much sense if I hadn't already read the book, methinks.
So, yes, I like Harry Potter.

Way to post intelligently. Explain why.

dude, I'm such a huge fan of Harry Potter...The books and the Movies are just great! I totaly freak out whenever the previews come on TV 'cause im all like "Harry Potter, yay!' on the TV screen...heh, i started reading them in the 6th grade, and since then...ive been a fan! ^___^ Go Daniel R.!
~The forth movie kicks butt! Its probably one of the best!

I wonder if harry and whats her name will become bf and gf?

I love Harry Potter. The films aren't as good as the books of course, but for a film, they are pretty will done. ^____^

I love Harry Potter ;) I don't read the books but I own all the movies of course.

Ummm.... "what's her name" is not very helpful. Near the end of the sixth book, however, it tells whom becomes Harry's gf. But we digress from the topic.

umm i liked the 4th movie....i liked the bulgarian dude...coz im bulgarian lol XD
i wana read the series now :D

I'm one of those who thinks that Harry Potter s***s.
I've read the first two books and I thought they were kinda crappy...
Artemis Fowl is much better, 'cause he's something like a anti-hero. and the stories of Eoin Colfer are much better than the ones from J. K. R.

i'm not really a harry potter fan, but i'd watched all the movies because of the effects.
