Hmmmm it's a very interesting question!
my very first videogame song that I really loved is very old actually XP
"Sonic the hedgehog main theme" it was on Sega!
my first favorite video game song....GOTTA be the song from the track Big Blue
on the original F-Zero for Super Nintendo. That game was SO much fun back
then...And still is now, or would be if I still had it...I can barely remember
the song though...I just know I liked it.
The first one was the credit song from homeworld (by Yes). Then It was the
opening "Adagio for String" by Samuel Barber. Homeworld (1&2) have
excellent soundtrack, have a look if you like peace music ;p
I forget, very first one were from megadrive : Ghostbuster and Starflight (the
game was incredible ! How many hours behind the screen ;') )
I'm gonna have to go with the opener from CT, I still love that game to this
day...I should play it again...for the ummm...I don't know...probably getting
close to the twentieth time or so, maybe more...gosh, I can't believe I've
beaten one game that many times :-P
ending theam to nights into dreams actuly to tell the truth i bought the game
just to play that song on my CDplayer and it acctuly worked unlike the newer
games but the songs name is DREAM DREAM good song very good song
I still remember when my parents bought me Wild Arms for Christmas many years
back, mistaking it for some other game I was wanting. I had never played an RPG
before, and looking back on it, the music played a big part in drawing me in.
I believe it was "Simple and Clean" by Utada Hikaru. The theme song
for Kingdom Hearts the DDR
remix for it was good
except i thought the intro was too long and the whole song together was kinda
short.
FF VIII - Eyes on me
Secret of mana, FF7 maintheme and Zelda

I would say its a tie between super mario brothers and sonic the hedghog
The first one was the song from Xenogears, "Two Small Pieces." I heard it in one of the first amv's I saw, a beautiful romantic video about Love Hina.
lol well... mmm lets see hmm...
that will be Zelda for SNES ^.^
FF8 - Eyes on Me, but now I don't really like it.

I would have to say it would have to be Chrono Trigger with the song Wind Scene
Live and Learn for Sonic Adventure.
And any song from that Game...(listin to the OST from sonic, ahhhhh).
All the songs from the Metal Gear Solid series.
"Beyond the Bounds" from Zone of the Enders the 2nd Runner.
It would have to be fighting the spirit from tales of phantasia
the ending music of FF X... Well, I don't play videogames too much, so I know just a few..
Eyes on Me from FFVIII. But I don't like it anymore
I still remember when my parents bought me Wild Arms for Christmas many years back, mistaking it for some other game I was wanting. I had never played an RPG before, and looking back on it, the music played a big part in drawing me in.
