for as long as I could remember,
Yet it fades and clouds day by day,
till I can hardly think of what to say,

My memory is failing me,
the things and people I see,
Who..what..where..I will never know,
like the saying I'm reaping what I sow,

I can only think of you......
the love that I will always feel,
the one that I tried to forget....
Now feeling wasted and regret,

The love fading as the memory lingers away,
if I could only turn back time to that day,
This feeling...caused by the sight of you mistreated,
by this person who was undeniably twisted,

I soon realized that for you..I was angered,
not by the past that occured,
But by the one you don't deserve,
This monster...you're forced to serve,

For you...I am willing to fight,
even though I have no right,
I found out that my love for you was never gone,
only...hidden by the thorns...

this is good, i like this one a lot. The rhyme is good, systematic rhyme with meaningful orientation.
Hidden by thorns sound very holy yet sad. This is quite a piece of something indeed.
