Members Gather!
After a long and presumably downtime of our group, I have decided to host a new
competition, this competition is of course a Signature contest!
This is the base of the contest, what you can do.
First on this thread, you register here, soon, a new thread will be posted up
where the competiton is.
Anyone is welcome to join, Mods, admins, members, and so on.
Judges will be decided by judges, mods and admins of the S3O signature studio,
which will be nominated for this contest.
Currently, we have Me, ChopperDave, K1ru, CHC999, Bj0rn, Kitten, and more to
come after I have discussed with people. Please be sure to join in S3O and I
will check to see.
The Admin in power of S2O is K1ru, ChopperDave and CHC999
Along with others Kitten and Bj0rn, I am not included for now, I am only the
clubowner.
The admins in power of S3O are the same people, but including
Enchantressinthedark, so please be sure to contact me, and we will discuss this
issue over.

Second, you will know this competition.
-Auto Elimination round, On a random basis, joined members will be expected to
pit against one another in preliminary round, first round, second round, third
round, semi final round and the final round.
These rounds will consist of different themes, please follow them.
Sig sizes are limited, 500x500 at most, any larger is disqualified. The general
rules of the club applies, no hentai and so on, (read on the group
page)
Third , there will be prizes, currently, i am offering a batch of 10 MP3s that I
have, depending on what I have, members are expected to chip in the prize, and
don't worry, there can be multiple winners from 1st to 5th place, and therefore,
prizes are expected to be shared.
If you wish to contribute your prize to add, tell me.
For now, there are MP3s
For those who lack credits, I am offering a set of 20 pictures of your choice
from Minitokyo to be downloaded off me, or 20 wallpapers of your choice from
Animepaper (i don't have enough papers)
If you wish, a set of hentai manga (which I doubt anyone wants) that I
have.
fourth, I don't expect people to rip, if you do, you are kicked out of the
competition and the club.
I will be expecting a lot of members/
As for the roster, i will set up the roster once it is closing date for the
joining.

sorry Devildude, but i find that his might b more plainish but i like the color,
stands out alot you guys both did great jobs tho!

Now, for my vote.
I aggree with ShinnAsuka14. Its a hard choice. But, sorry Devildude, I have a
liking for colors. SekiRyuu gets my vote for his good use in color
layers.

I vote for Devildude. Why? Because I see a special unique taste in his sig.
SekiRyuu's sig is kinna plain and common to me. Just like a background splatted
there with a picture. As for Devildude, you can see he actually took the effort
to blend different elements into his background and even did the border nicely.
Great job Devildude! Thumbs up for the artistic taste and effort!

Hmmm... I like them both, but they also both have flaws--i.e., the text on Seki
Ryuu's seems too bold, and it seems like there should be slightly less empty
space (and I consider myself a pacifist, so I'm not fond of the gun, but that's
not the kind of thing to be taken into account when judging these, lol) and
while the idea for Devildude's is really cool, it seems like it doesn't blend as
well as it could and the text around the edges is too blurry and... I don't
know, the sig is too "something". I can't quite figure it out... maybe
it's just a taste thing. XP
So, I guess I'd have to go with Seki Ryuu's, because I do like the brush-strokes
background. Sorry Devildude.
...and I'm ready for a "battle", too, sometime in the future, if
anyone cares to challenge me.

well...actually the text was meant to be blurry because i intended to use the
text as the border, the main focus is around the design of the black and white
and then the character which i cannot use anything else other than greyish
colors to mark a shadow figure. So Yeah, anyway, congrats Seki Ryuu. This Battle is Over

Embershadow: Yours is really sweet looking, but i just can't quite take the
brightness...it is really too shiny. But the edges are wonderful, the font is
great and personally I think it is one of the best.
However, my vote goes to Susan chan for her sig is more romantic, I like the
theme and the feeling it gives.I can see her font clearly, there is a suitable
and romantic ambience that radiates. Plus, it is eye friendly (sorry about that,
my eyes are bad)
I too vote Susan-chan. Looks very clear, and I have a weakness for romance. I
didn't like the checker-ish effects in embershadow's sig, and thats why I didn't
vote for it.
Ok, and after this battle is over, I call dibs because I have a sig I wish to
battle with. ^^
i vote for embershadow~! I must say the colour is very compatable! I love the
border too! It's so interesting, looks like a parchment perhaps a little too
much though, but it'll do fine. The japanese text is also very interesting! I
assume that you're good in japanese too! i love the background too!
P.S Seems like I'm always the one opposing the majority at the beginning! =)
