Quote by valkyrie1337I saw my first
anime, Sailormoon, during my younger years and loved anime from then since. I still
wonder what made me to be so....addicted to anime.
You know what? I've been wondering that same thing like that makes it just so
attractive and alluring? It would be different for everyone but there is just
something so addictive that I JUST HAVE TO HAVE MORE! In fact after I get done
here I'm going to go and watch "the Broken Seal"<--Naruto again
just for the hell of it and because it is awesome Anime.
when i watched dragonballZ, i was thinking
if there was anymore of this stuff so i started
to watch naruto,bleach, & one piece(they're my
favorite anime shows) and POW here i am
watching over 100+ anime shows
i started watching anime since i was so small..then when i get into secondary
school, sort of stop for a while..my anime craze jz started back like 2 years ago
(thanks to naruto!)
it started for me with speed racer, my uncle watched it all the time. Then
Robotech (please don't stone me for using the bad word, down w/ harmony gold)
when i was in middle school. it came on after school let out and ran before the
gi joe and transformers. then to top it off i spent the summer of 98 in japan.
now my 13 year onl daughter and 11 year old son are hooked on anime too.
The first anime cartoons that I saw was Heidi and The Secret Garden. I loved how
they looked. Then I saw Ranma 1/2 and I thought it was so hilarious, but my
parents didn't let me watch it.
Then I fell in love with all the anime cartoons when I first saw Digimon and
CCS.
Hrmm.. Well let's see... Urm.. I think it all started when I always came down in
the summer to my aunt's house.. She always loved sailormoon.. so she always
watched it.. keke.. I always sat right by her and sat infront of the TV. But I'm
not sure if that was the first ANIME I've ever seen... :P I feel like I've seen
something else before sailormoon, but that's just my theory.. keke.. But I guess
sailormoon it is.. heh.. Nowadays, I'm in a whole new different world where I
can't stop watching anime or reading it....:)
So long ago.... hmmm... Pokemon then digimon then ccs then Ranma 1/2 and so
on.... Yep, definately pokemon started it off although I didn't find out that it
was an anime till recently ^_^;
Sailor Moon was my first anime but it wasn't until Fushigi Yuugi that I really
started trying out different series. I was 16 and thought the character designs
were fantastic! Been
hooked ever since.
I hadn't heard the term anime until 5 years ago when I started working in a
library . I wanted to start some kind of teen group so I was asking for
suggestions and someone mentioned an anime club. Of course I had that blank look
on my face so I was given an explanation. Okay, so I did some research and for
our first presentation I showed Fruits Basket. That was my downfall. Suddenly I
just couldn't get enough! I'm now completely obsessed and the teens laugh at me,
because they think it's hilarious, however, our club has over 40 members so who
has the last laugh? bwahahahaha
i got addicted to anime when i watched ghostfighter and gundam wing on
television. when i went to college, i got a roomate who is a collector and a big
fan of anime and manga..that's when i got to watch many...^_^ i even skip
classes just to read or watch! ^_^
Well it all started way back when when Salior Moon air on TV on cartoon network
on weekend morning, i was instantly infatuated with Darien (tuxedo Mask) still
am! But it really started when i started watching Ruroni Kenshin on Cartoon
Network at 10.
I turned on the tv one day cos I was bored and the anime called "the 12
kingdoms" was on and the storyline hooked me....started from there and
stayed with it
When I was a kid in the 70s I watched Speed Racer and Battle of the Planets.
Back in 1997 I stared watching Robotech and Sailor Moon on Cartoon Network's
Toonami. I've been trying to quinch my anime thirst ever since.
hmm , i grew up with Dragon Ball , i loved it and after i started highschool i
had a classmate who liked anime , i asked him if he has and i got from him Ghost
in the Shell the first movie , and after that i found a romanian(im from
romania) forum with discussions about anime and manga , and started meeting
people who have a lot of anime and manga and after that............my collection
grew .
i started watching robotech when i was little and then gundam. those are the
anime that kicked me off. o dragonball z was too i think that came before gundam
or after!? i really dont kneo
basically my younger brother watched it all the time. I thought alot of the
stuff he watched was pretty lame, but some of it really caught my eye. I didn't
really get hooked until I started watching Naruto (which has been a HUGE
disappointment lately. boo.). Since then I keep watching. I like more serious
animes cause the lighthearted ones seem... well.. fake. I like the fact that
this is one of the only animated genres where characters can grapple with
problems like real people instead of cut-out facsimiles.
