I was just curious to how much the average anime/manga fan spends on anime every week or month.

roughly 2 times a week... I watch mostly are live Hong Kong/ Chinese productions

umm is this a money question or time?
i watch it every day if its a time question...
i duno how much i spend...how bout none?haha
Peace =)

Spends in as money.

i spend wayyyy too much...

but yea, i am actually kinda spaztic in my buyings. I can spend upwards of 100 bucks just from one visit to bestbuy or I can get away with not buying anything for a while. Generally speaking I try to stick to anime boxsets.

Wow. I know I used to spend a lot on anime. Well, in the first place, anime isn't cheap. One season ranges from $30 to $35 depending on the anime your purchasing.

only if i purchase which is once in afew months.. abt 250-350+

Hmm... I spend about 100-150 euros each month for anime and dvds

2005- Around $500 a month on anime.

2006- Maybe $100 a month as I've realized my savings is in the toilet and nobody needs 900 DVD's. But it seems now I've just funneled the remaining money to other hobbies so I'm screwed either way.

Me? About $30 per month depends on the amount of allowance I get. Still a student...

I don't think I spend that much on anime every month lol. I spent around $20-$40 every two months or so.

hmmmm I think I'm about the same as you there blahblah20, around 40$ at least on anime every 2 months. But now starting to save some money for college next september, I have to keep a tight budget ^_^'

Thats not a easy question for me since when im on in the computer, its anime all the time ^^ when i wake up i turn on the pc when im back from school i torn on the pc again till 12pm ^^'

My great passion watchink animes, and reading manga:). Strange, huh?:D. I spend almost all of my pocket money. It's about avarage 10000 HUF in a month (it's equal as 50-60 USD).

I don't spend much.
There is only Naruto manga I buy: $4US per month.
Sometimes I buy some manga on the internet auctions, it cost less then ;)

Hmm. That's not bad. Be careful with those auctions though. There's a bad reputation about items not being recieved or described correctly. But, now and days I haven't been spending much on anime.

i used to spend around 100 or so a month on anime. now its around 20. too many other things going on.

Well I spend hmmmmm . . . Lets check ! 30 Euros for a book each month (How to draw manga) About 45 Euros for Doujinshi Special collenction and 17 euros in collection manga books (like Love Hina - Full Metal panic ...etc). SO totally about 93 euros a month!

I think I spend about 20-50 pounds per months...really depends when. At July, when I go to the Hong Kong manga convention, I spend about $1500 in one day...and about the time in April, maybe none.

See if i actually had some cash than i would spend more on anime / manga but untill then is been at least 0$ for the past couple months

I spend 40-50 euros a month on manga. I like it, but there are lots of things to do! ^^

40 US a month

well where i live it's really hard to get anime but when i go hongkong i spend more than 800 pounds a month and propably only anout 50 pounds a month in england
