Well, I was quite young when i watched pokemon and dragonballz, like about 1st grade. I'm not talking about american stuff though, cause I've watched that since i was born.

Well I started watching anime around the age of 7. During that time of course I watched it as any other cartoon. The good thing is that since there is no so much censorship I had no problem with getting use to some things in anime. I started to officialy watch anime as a collector and fan when I reached my 15 years old, but by then I enjoyed many now old classics.

when i was 3 or 4.. my 1st anime was doramon.. so cute and funny..

I was five. I think my first anime was Sailormoon or timetravelers (the one with the teapot), or YYH, or slamdunk I don't clearly remember but I was having a good time with Sailormoon anime.

Around kindergarden, my first anime technally was Speed Racer. The first one I saw sience I knew about anime in the first place was Cardcaptors. Not sure which grade. Anyone seen Speed Racer? That was an awesome classic!

The first anime I watched was sailormoon. That was when I still lived in Jamaica, I was about 5 or 6. When I came to the USA, sailormoon made its debut on cartoon network. That's about when I started to watch dragonball z (10 years old). When I was about 12 I started becoming obsessed with anime. I watch it atleast once a week now. Right now I'm 17 and applying to college to become a graphic designer. I guess praticing my drawing on all those anime characters came in handy.... I'm such a nerd.

I first started watching at 3. I could distinctly remember a certain movie that seems to be like Nausica and the Valley of the wind shown at a now dead channel 21.

I didn't start watching Anime until my Junior year of high school, when I was 16. I recently got DirecTv that year so I started watching cartoon network, and watched Anime like Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, and some others on it. Those got me interested in Anime, but my friend is the one who got me addicted to anime, by telling me about certain ones that were good and let me borrow them, and once I saw them I was like "Wow, I need to start buying my own, because Anime is the best." Thus started my life as a serious Anime Otaku. I bought SO much Anime since then my collection went from 0 to over 120 in less than 2 years. Since then I was known as the Anime King at my high school, because I had so much Anime. I graduated at 17, and am 18 at the moment, and am still buying more Anime and will cotinue to, because now my collection is over 150 and by the end of this year it will be over 200. Though my manga collection is not very high, its around 40, but it will grow as well because I like some of my little sisters manga and want to by some of her manga series for myself. So my manga collection will continue to grow as well, though it has a long way to go to catch up to my Anime Collection.

like many ppl here i sterted to watch anime when i was small but at that age you kind of dont understand many things. so i didnt watch anime for a very long period until 2 years ago when i started to learn japanese

My first Anime Was Samurai Pizza Cats! and a strange one ... i think that it was Genius bob or something lyk that! but the first japanese show that i looked was jiban and liveman ! it was very popular at that time! i was 4 or less!

i was probably 4 or 5 i cant fully remember but i grew up on sailor moon and dragonball i didnt know what it was so i thought it was a cartoon but I was hooked and couldn't stop then l8r i found it was anime when I got a little older

High school. My first anime I saw was Scryed. That guy who gets some magic fist or something. But what got me really into anime was Cowboy Bebop. Even though the series is 5-6 years old, its animation is still great. I'm sure you get this a lot now with Cowboy Bebop playing on Cartoon Network. But still, you got to admit, it's a damn fine series.
