I was just curious...since I am moving AGAIN at the beginning of May and then once again at the end of October...how many times have any of you moved? I have moved once in my life before I joined the Navy, ( I was 2) and since I joined the Navy met my husband and married(he is still in the Navy) I have moved 8 TIMES, plus the 2 times this year makes it 10 TIMES in 7 years! If you have moved what is the worst about it? Mine has always been the friends I have left behind...

I only moved three times and the house I am staying I live in 9 years. But I moving By the end of this year again I move down south. I really do want to move but I leave all my friend behind.

i have never actually moved... unless you count moving away for college... ^_^'

tooo many times, trying to make new friends is a bitch...

So far I moved once when I was 5 (I was litterally brought up in the middle of a forest), then when I was 10 (back to the countryside). Then I moved after high school for my studies about 5 times or so.

I've moved roughly 38 times in the last 17 years, 36 of which to different countries all over asia and europe. My dad's a resrep for the United nations so I get a lot of travel--now i'm in switzerland, which is, so far, the first first-world country I'm taking up residence in. Afterwards, i'm likely to settle down in Canada (my father recently retired)

I suppose the worst thing was leaving behind friends, but earlier on I wasn't much of a chap you'd really like, so i hadn't many things to say goodbye to -_-... The best thing though is it's allowed me to develop a good sense of self and sense of global community.

i would have to say about 20 times...

I've moved only once, when I was abojut seven...I think...
We moved there because my youngest brother was born, so we moved into a bigger house. Though where I used to live and where I live now are in the same suburb so I stayed at the same primary school and didn't have to leave my friends.

once ages ago when i was about 5,6 or 7 to where i am now, then im gonna move in the near future, still same school, just a heap closer

Hmm... I moved about 6 times.

Ive moved 3 times ^^

me, I've moved 4 times.

NONE! lived in the same house for 18 years. . . comfy. . . but the city sux T_T

hmmm 1st house 2nd apt 3rd rented house 4th house again yep i moved 4 times in my life

Way too many times (at least 15), although no reason as interesting as UN rep or the service. As a kid, I hated moving. I'm moving again next week through no fault of my own (my landlord went crazy) but at least this time it's a happy occassion -- we're moving to a bigger apartment!

Heh im moving tomorrow...thats the 4th time or so...always within the same city though, and im moving about 1.5km away now(like 3miles?) >_>

I'm a lucky girl ^^ I just moved once...when I was 1 year old...

Never. I still live in the middle of nowhere. Unless living in a college dorm counts as moving. In that case, I've moved to the small yet crime-filled city of Wheeling, West Virginia.

Hmmmm never...next yr though i will live in japan for a yr...but i am not permantly gonna be there (i think).
I really wouldnt wanna move...love my house and city...but i will hav to move out someday.

Never. my whole life i've lived in the same house... i luv my house and friend so i'm happy and i hope i never moved

hmm... lets see... i think i have moved 6 times my whole life. i don't really like moving.

My family have moved house 3 times, always within the same city, but I look at it like this;

Everything we experience has an affect on us as people, I like the person I am now & I have a feeling a big part of who I am is down to where I moved house to the first time when I was young.

I'm a University student though, so in some respects I move twice a year ;) Though I arrived in Japan on January 4th for a 3 month exchange with a Japanese University which I'm loving. To anyone considering Japan, or travel in general, do it, don't think about money & stuff too much, I'm going to be in debt from this, but its been so worth it, & its done me so much good as a person, drawing me out of a rut I was in back home & just bringing back so much I thought I'd lost.

Travel. Its good for you!

I have never moved. I'm still living with my parents in the same house I have lived in in my hole life. :)

I've moved 2 times.
