I love making walls, I find them to be somewhat therapeutic, and suddenly my
stuff has been deleted, not too certain why, perhaps it is because I used the
same figures twice, but all in all the pair represented so many possibility to
touch on certain emotions and general waves of thought that using them twice was
simply the out come to hours of work. I mean, if I submitted my more favorite of
the two will it be accepted? I am still somewhat unsure as to why they were
deleted but I would like to know your opinions on the subject, if you dont
mind.
Did you use straight stock photography for the backgrounds?
Maybe the mods were looking for better blending/matching of the scan to the
background

yeah that was my thought they were straight stock photos but it looks like you
slightly modified it. In my own personal opinion the 1st wallpaper is alot
better the 2nd one thou is average. Either it resembles too much of a stock
image or the two of the same subject but try and submit your favourite one again
it might work.
You job is not bad . . . i will agree with the others. . . probably it is the
stock photos you have use . . . but to tell you the truth i like the 2nd one
better . . . although i will prefer it with the background and the colors of the
1st one
Stock photos usages must be used smartly, remember to alter them before use and
use them as a supplement, not the entire background. This is a part of the
policy.
As for the walls themselves, I think it lacks contents, the stock photo is fine,
but it lacks richness, perhaps due to the desolated ice and greyish looks, with
colorful characters that don't really match.
And plus, one should post a thread in the sandbox forum wallpapers that are in
progress, need opinions and so on, not deleted and intended to be resubmitted
walls, unless of course, you intend to improve on them.
Wait for second opinions and I suggest full fledged modifications to your wall

the 2nd one looks abit strange as in the characters looked like they are slapped
on top of the stock pics.. which made them looked quite detached... no fluency..
Hey Jheir you shouldn't take the deletions too seriously, i've known you for a
while, and your walls have only gotten better, on regards to these two walls, I
would put my vote on the first one because it seems to make the scan look more
'natural'.
So don't be discouraged by a few deletions, because your walls always turn out
great and I can't wait to see more. ^ ^

in my opinion in the first wall needs some effect in the characters (some lights) and see the charas on the background, they needs a shadow.
