Altho i do feel little insecure about their relationship. Asuran could be with
Meyrin. Asuran's feeling towards Cagalli is just like comrades. Asuran would

Destiny did ruin their couple imo. Well, not ruin, but definitely led me to not
like it as much. And imo, it was all on Cagalli's hands. (way more than Athrun
anyway) b/c she almost married that guy Yuuna for no real reason (it had no
positive effect on her country and leds me to wonder about Cagalli's
intelligence) and betrayed the promise ring and what it symbolizes.
Meyrin however, saved his ass and thought up a pretty decent plan instantly. She
risked her neck and I believe it's much more than just some crush (would you
really go through all of that if it was nothing? I don't think so).
True though, that Athrun hasn't really made his feelings clear at all. We know
he still cares for Cagalli, but why did he and Meyrin walk away together? Their
facial expressions don't led me to believe that they are a couple yet, but it
does make me wonder b/c they did walk a way together. My question is, why didn't
Mey go with Luna/Shinn? And Athrun with Lacus/Kira? I haven't seen Final plus,
just screenshots, so I can't really talk about what happened in it... I know

and also the way she hesitated in Final Plus rather convinced me that the
relationship is over, but that they are still friends and support each
other.
That's why I think that Athrun and Meyrin are a cute couple, beside the way she

behind. I don't think Meyrin is as weak as everyone claims. And also when she
was on the Archangel, I do believe that she respects Cagalli a lot and never

by polite behavior's meyrin or psychic behavior's lacus....but loving lacus by

I haven't watched Destiny for this exact reason, they ruin things by extending
the series further than it should go and changing characters that make sense for
ones that don't.

Cagalli. Boy was I disappointed with Gundam SEED Destiny and Gundam SEED Destiny Final Plus! Fukada intends to put Athrun with Meyrin I think.
