Well I think it's an ok anime... I think a lot of episodes were kinda boring.
I really enjoyed the last couple of episodes though.
My fav. characters were Kotori and the "kat-girl" (oopsy, can't
remember her name )
Yoriko was her name. I only watched the 1st season and from the way things seem
to be goin....(Kotori's suffering) I don't really feel like watching the 2nd
season.... Poor Kototi.
Anyways anyone knoe the song that was sung during ep 22? in the 1st season.
(Yoriko's special and last night)?
da capo is a great anime
its probably the first anime that i acually downloaded all the way through
until
shinsen-subs halted for a while....
and they're still not releasing ep. 11 yet
but still i liked it:D
go da capo!
For some reason I can't really get into the series much. It's just alright. Like
many here, I support Kotori in favor of Nemu. For some reason Nemu just annoys
me, I can't quite figure out why. Oh, but there's another couple that I think is
really cute, but I can't remember their names, gah. It was one of the
green-haired sisters (the younger one) and that guy she's always fighting with.
Well, since noones posted in a while, here's one:
Great show, but i think junichi or what ever his name is, should've picked
sakura over Nemu. Nemu is his sister therefore junichi must be incest. but their
not related by blood, and Sakura is his cousin....its like an incest
love-a-thon. Well, i still think its a great show, still 1 of my favs.
well, the only thing that i know is that i hate the shonen, i hate example,
dragon ball, naruto, bleach, full metal alchemist, one piece, initial D, and
another animes shonen that are very very inclinate to the male gener.
in conclution, D.C. like Shuffle NOT BE A SHONEN ANIME.
I like Da Capo, especially the location settings. Imagine a place, where the
sakura blooms everyday throughout the year (heck, i've never even seen a real
sakura tree yet) in the first season. Secondly, the drawing was quite
satisfactory (especially Kotori). It was consistent throughout both seasons, but
in the second season, the characters were like "stretched", making
them look skinny.
Lastly, story wise, Da Capo can be listed as one of my favourites. the story was
clear cut, though at the beginning of the second season, there was this strange
"2-year gap" gimmick that i found a bit confusing. Regardless, Da Capo
is a must for bishoujo lovers, and anmie lovers too.
Ahahaha
Sayonara~
Well Da Capo 1 and secoind season is pretty good. Though i don't like the result
with Jyunchi ending up with his sister Nemu. I would prefer either kotori or
sakuranbo. I just don't like Nemu at all....
I kinda regret downloading Da Capo season 1 at first, the first few episodes
detracted me from watching it cause I'd expected a serious romance.
But about a year later I'd resume watching it for the sheer comedy and the
peaceful slice of life feel to it, but towards the last few episodes it became a
serious romance and almost cried a few times cause of the tragedies that
happened. Like:
Spoiler:
When the robot Miharu was gonna stop functioning, she wasn't a temporary
replacement for the real Miharu but a individual on her own, and it was really
sad to see her go, and have her data erased . I
still weep these days when I think about the robot Miharu .
Also, when the Cat girl (sorry forgot her name :S), had to return to her owner
(man so many tragic moments happened in such a short period of time, it was hard
to bear ), but at least she still living but as a Cat.
Also, when Nemu was in the coma and being delusional and having a sort of
Amnesia, that was a blow to my heart .
I also felt sorry for Sakura cause she was lonely having to live by herself and
still longing for Junichi even thought she knows she can never get him and that
he and Nemu were meant for each other. And that she was bounded by the curse of
the Sakura tree, having her heart's desire wish granted, even thought she didn't
want it cause it was hurting Nemu.
But luckily Junichi expressed his love for Nemu no matter what will happened and
it broke the curse of the Sakura tree.
Anyways, one of my favourate animes, although it had a lowsy start to it, I was
lucky to have ended up watching it to the end and I'd enjoyed it for the comedy,
ecchi :P, drama, and especially romance.
Now I'm watching Season 2 and enjoying it. It gets straight into the drama
unlike Season 1.
Kinda old thread to revive but i still like Da Capo.
And yeah, im a Kotori X Junichi supporter (not that i want Junichi to be with
Kotori, but Kotori to be with Junichi, because although she would deserve a
better male character, that is what the Kotori character wants), and i don't
like Nemu at all, really... But i think that she is the only character that
could actually create a better storyline, because she drowns in her own misery.
If Junichi was to stay with any other girls would be just love, love, and ending
with love, nothing more than love (imo).
Heard the story followed the plot of the game if you would choose Nemu, so can't
complain much about Kotori never having a real chance.
To me Da Capo is a nice show and the story telling is not bad.

Wow...i didn't think a whole discussion about the meaning of bishoujo, shounen, etc. would ensue. However, its provided some interesting information.

I hate Nemu!
(arggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)
Go Kotori!
Im glad Nemu ended up with the guy in the end, cause i really liked her the most and i thought the brother-on-sister relationship was really cute.
BUT now, in dcss i want sakura to be the one who ends up with the guy cause she got underminded and shunted by Nemu

I support Kotori. Count me in!

I love it, the drawing is sooo cuutee, the storyline is cool, all in all i love it ^___^!
