Use Tresmme A LOT! The kind for Dry and Damages hair...that's what I use and I
get compliments from not only old people but now young people as well wooo hooo!
And just because it does not start working after the first day does not mean I
am lying. I have been using it for over five years OH and do not blow-dry your
hair and stay out of the sun as much as possible.
Mayonnaise - does that a really work ,
not that I doubt you but, are you like talking about the same stuff that you put
on food - won't that make your hair smell?
I think I have okay hair. To maintain your pretty hair, you have to shampoo
about once every two days and don't blow-dry too often; that'll kill your hair
if it's completely wet.
I use Pantene ProV Shampoo and Conditioner, then I use this gel stuff for my
hair to keep it from getting frizzy and then I use this spray so it makes it
easier to straighten my hair when I use my straightener. ^_^;; I'm not like a
hairdresser or anything so I don't know how to really take care of my hair
Quote: i have pretty nice hair.
That's why I'm asking how to maintain it.....
That's good. I guess I have several suggestions:
- Putting your hair under extreme heat (curling iron, straightening iron, hot
hot blow drying, etc) on a regular basis is never good for your hair.
- Same goes for dying, perming, etc. There are things you can do to revitalize
your hair, but its not necessary, though
good for your hair.
- Find the shampoo and conditioner that best works for your hair - or if you
have the financial resources, you can go purchase the ones salons use (they
definitely definitely work much better) and use them occasionally as supplements
to your regular shampoo/conditioner
- If you can, don't brush your hair right after a shower when it's soaking wet;
if you must, I'd say stick to minimal combing. Hair strands get more easily
damaged by the bristles when wet. And blow drying with cool air or air drying is
best.
- And use hair lotion on a regular basis (depends on the product and your hair,
but usually not everyday.. it'll create buildup.. yuck.)
well, i also have pretty nice hair, here's my suggestions....
-as much as possible, eat fruits and vegetables on a regular basis, i read it
once on a hair care website that your hair reflects your health, i eat fruits
and vegetables daily since my mother is a nutritionist.
-get at least 8 hours of sleep, and avoid the sun, wear a cap or something to
protect your hair.
-dont use too much shampoo for your hair... in my case, i only use shampoo at
least once a week... i tried using it daily and i noticed that it damages my
hair gradually....i think my hair is allergic to shampoo...
i get compliments all the time about my hair... just follow good hygiene and
you'll do well....
If your hair is pencil straight like mine, you might want to put Biosilk ((or
Bioshine, the cheaper, not name brand)) hair polish on your hair after you
shower. It makes your hair shiny, smooth, tangle free, and makes it smell great
too! I've had tons of compliments on my hair when I use this product.
Oh, and if your hair is long, braid it at night. It protects your hair from
getting a lot of split ends.

Yep, Biosilk does work well. Also there's a
water-based hair lotion that moisturizes your hair, called Aquair (Japanese
brand) that is not as heavy and won't create buildup (excessive hair polish
will).
I've been told it's best to use shampoo once every two day... and that warm
water isn't good (even though I like better not using cold water... since it's
cold), at least use cooler water to rinse hair.
It's nice too to change shampoo and use conditionners.
i hear a few people saying to use the pantene conditioners. These are good
however i've heard of a few people who've had problems with it. One of the
pantene things coats your hair with a tiny bit of silicone i think it was, and
it works great if you use it constantly, however for some people if you use it
for a while and then just stop, it's possible that your hair will start to fall
out because of the change in conditions.
Maybe that's a myth but i have a friend who said it had happened to them (not
all their hair) and i've heard of it happening to others, maybe someone will
want to correct me if i'm wrong.
hi!i was just wondering!can somebody tell me how to maintain a gorgeous 'do?i'm tired of ponytails!
Put shampoo in it and brush it?
Care to be a little more specific? Do you already have nice hair or do you need to work on it..? Or are you talking about different styles?
Try mayonnaise....it will give you a nice shiny look without the fly aways....I've tried that once...and it did good

i uses pantene and my hair is fine
Hmmm. I wouldn't be any good with this subject because my hair is rough and very messy.
Depends on your hair... Mine is straight and fat, si I only have to wash it with a strong shampoo to keep it well...
