My stance is this, I am an anime fan so if I can get my hands on it, I'm
watching it. Due to this I have seen some things I'd rather I didn't but at
least I'm getting exposure to a lot. My personal view on hentai is that is a
genre that aims to entertain. Horror creates suspense, romance gives a euphoric
feeling, action creates excitement whilst hentai creates sexual arrousal. No one
particular emotion is superior to another so there is nothing wrong with
catering to a certain emotion or reaction. I personally enjoy quite a few
hentais out there for that very reason. Does this make me perverted, that all
depends on ones views on the subject and how objectively they view it. But I
also enjoy some due to the plots that they do have. Granted hentai isn't the
primary of my anime intellect, but it does occupy a fair chunk.

disgusting, and I will have nothing to do with it. Fanservice is bad enough, but
its only crimes are tastelessness and shallowness, but hentai takes everything I

If it doesn't have a good plot and isn't interesting it's too boring to watch.
And most hentai animes don't have those things, so...

Hentai fills in what porn cannot normally succeed, such as having all the girls
and women always beautiful, always the perfect 33 23 33 figure, beauty face, and
perfect attitude (submissive to sex 24 hours ready) and filling up the
impossible side of things..(tentacles for example)
I myself enjoy hentai, as a sidedish to real porn, and also as an entertainment
for my personal preference. If one actually enjoys the stories, one can find
many pleasure in dramatic experience.
For example, the story behind Night Shift Nurses is actually quite dramatic, if
you read the novel, it goes deeper still. The animation briefly describes the
intense hate of the lead girl for the man who used and abused her sexually, as
she begins to submit, she realizes that she is pregnant with his ugly child.
Torn between submitting to his will and bearing a child, she makes the choice to
kill him instead.
The story is actually dramatically enjoyable.
One should not judge simply based on the sex alone. (especially to
Mr.Shinsengumi) Not all ecchi anime is bad, I mean, fan service is not as bad as
it seems, mostly it works in both ways, attract viewers, as a part of a larger
story. It all boils down to individual films and their personal plots.

I see it as equal to normal porn. Hentai also seems to have real stories, even
if they're under normal anime quality, they're superior to the stories of
life-action porn.
It's an art form, though true about art there are different levels of art
quality such as the style of Bible Black compared to say a low budget hentai. As
such all art should be respected and judge on art style and content
i dont like hentai...but sometimes its part of the plot...usually though it has
nothing to do with the plot...i'd rather there was no hentai...but theres not
much i can do about it since there are too many people who like it and want it
in manga *shrug* i just sorta cover it up with my hand and read on...maybe they
should publish manga with censored hentai for those who want to know what
