What cancelled T.V. Series deseves to be renewed and why?

I ask this because there are plenty of T.V. shows cut down before their time (Megas XLR, Invader ZIM, esc.) or hauled to give out a proper fan satisfying ending (Teen Titans, Samurai Jack esc). Family Guy managed to rise from the cancelled graveyard thanks to successful DVD releases, proving that it's not inpossibe. What TV shows deserves renewal and why?

I would like CNs AS to show more of Case Closed...it's stupid when they start a series, show the next episode, and not show the series again. They use to jack around like that with InuYasha all the time until us Inu-Otaku started to threaten them and I'll tell you this ladies and gentlemen I would have been with the angry mob with my own torch and pitch fork if they would have. *nods sternly*

well, i hope they could show inuyasha to its entirety.

Forget the shows that should come back, what about the ones that should be cancled? I would gladly give up one of my favorite shows for any number of flops to be cancled completely. I did like space ghost though. It's been so long since it's been on that my memory of it is a little foggy, but I think that I'd still enjoy watching it. It was one of those shows that was just so downright stupid that it caused it to be incredibly funny. It kinda brings you out of the seriousness of the world.

they cancelled so many good shows off of Cartoon Network....why in the hell did they show 8 episodes of Knights of the Zodiac and not show it anymore...Come ON! Saint Seiya rules

I think Firefly needs to come back from the dead. Stupid Fox network butchered the great show, and i think Fox is responsible for the fact that the show only lasted 1 season. Since Firefly became such a huge cult hit, the new movie Serenity was made, which kicked butt, Serenity was an awsome tribute to the fans, and after seeing it, i hope it can once again regain its popularity and perhaps start a new season(s) on the scifi channel (which did the original series a favor by rerunning it on tv than fox did). well, thats me anyway

I agree. Firefly was an amazing show that definitely should have been allowed to continue. Although the movie was a great, we can't help but want more...

Anyone remember the old SatAM Sonic the Hedgehog? Canceled after its second season! And on a cliffhanger no less! It should be continued if not because it was a great show, but to resolve the cliffhanger.

On another note and somewhat off topic, why don�t these companies that have all the old originals of some great shows in vaults get them out and start selling DVDs? They released one DVD of Sonic SatAM and it disappeared like hot cakes. Why let them rot in the vault?

Saint-Seiya and Sonic should be brought back. I have them both complete to which as far as they have come. I have no need for them hence I have them but I would like others to experience the ecstasy.

Does it have to be cartoon/anime? If not, I'll pick Dark Angel. Really good series, so I pretty sad at its 'ending'. I always thought there should be a 3rd series.

It's intresting, how some people show so much support for their dead shows. But you guys do know some of these shows were canned because of poor ratings. That means very few people were watching it. Yes a show should be alowed to end properly, but like some people, not all shows live long enough for us to fully enouy them. But it should be noted the Family Guy got canned twice and came back both times becuse of the fans. So if you keep up the pressure, how knows what might happen.

I have to also say Firefly. Great show that was never given a chance, same with Serenity.

Rocko's Modern Life . . . plain and simple.

The humor of that series relied on how much its viewers really know about life. There are spoofs in pop culture and there's even some innuendo in there. The characters were funny and the episodes were just plain great. Not bad for something that aired on a kids' network. They need to release a DVD so I can buy all the episodes.

As a matter of fact, I think a lot of Nickelodeon's old stuff is way superior to the garbage they have on now. It's a crying shame.

Salute Your Shorts was also a good series, but I know that none of those kids can probably pull off the same humor as they did back then. Just release the episodes on DVD so we can visit Camp Anawana once more!

i say they should put escaflowne back on fox because it was good even though it was a long time ago i still wish they will put it back on and mew mew power

I don't remmeber much shows that I want renewed though Reboot would be nice if they had some new episodes instead of playing the older episodes over nad over again. How about the classic Garfield tv series? I kind of liked that show, I wonder if it's still playing in the mornings.... anyways I would like it if they cancelled some of the new/old shows that are lined up on YTV. Excluding the upcoming Fullmetal Alchemist of course.

I loved that show! I used to watch it every day after school here in England, I thought it was really cool! Definitely agree with you there, and also with Invader Zim as someone said - although with this one it might be the writer was running out of ideas. I would prefer to not see it if it won't be as funny or interesting as before

i agree with a couple people who have previously posted about firefly. i love the series and was very angry at what fox did to the show itself. i was so excited that they came out with a movie (which was done by universal... damn fox), even though they killed off a lot of the cast. the show has become a cult classic already and i think it was under rated at the time.
there are a lot of shows that should be brought back. i sometimes wonder what the hell networks are thinking, i mean they cancel a lot of good shows.

God, the Devil and Bob. That show was comedy genius that was pulled off of the air because of the religious uproar it caused. It was a stab at religion yes, but it wasn't just out and out ruthless. If you haven't seen the show, go buy the whole series on dvd for like $15. Quality stuff.

I would kill to see more episodes of Invader Zim. It's possibly the best show that nickelodeon has ever shown. It's so funny and original and humorously creepy! All the characters were great and the art was fantastic!

I quite enjoyed Firefly, but I can see why it was cancelled. That sort of show did not really appeal to a lot of people and as a result didn't really have very good ratings.

There are quite a few shows I'd love to see come back. Angel, Futurama, Undergrads, just to name a few. I hate to see shows that are forced to give a premature ending when the studio cuts them off. In some cases the people who canned the show even admit that they were way off base in cancelling it. But unfortunately Family Guy is the exception in the case of coming back, not the rule. But a man can always dream.

I wouldn't go so far as to say TV is getting worse. There's still alot of quality shows on, like Prison Break, Lost, 24 and CSI.
