By the first episode i didn't discover many things about this anime but it talks
about a boy whos been saved by a mage in an unknown catasroph. He adopted him and
told him that he has special magic skills that he must perform them because he
will assist in a mage war which every sorcerer summon a servant and send him
fight.
Sure that the story is not original but it's not bad either, the picture quality
is perfect and the animtion is well done^^
I've played a bit of the game. So far, i've seen 3 episodes of the anime. Sakura
seems like she'll turn out into a great character to get to know, same with
Shirou. Rin and Saber haven't had much to go on yet, but they will definately
play a big role in it. Question is, i wonder which part of the game their
following with the anime...1 of 3 choices.
1. Fate
2. Unlimited Blade Works
3. Heavens Feel
Personally, i'd like to see Heaven's Feel put on screen, since it involves more
of Matou Sakura as the main character. I'm going to guess their sticking with
the first part 'Fate' where Saber takes the lead role.
All in all, its pretty good, there are a few clips that i noticed are in the
game but haven't been ported over to the anime series. Despite that, it still
looks like it has a lot of potential for story and character growth.

Night is an ok anime in my opinion.
I assume it'll get better as the story progresses.
Nothing really new or special about it though..
Such comments about a new series having "nothing really new or
special" really annoys me.
What does something, be it anime, video games, tv series, have to have for it to
be "new or special" or original? Let me put it this way: What do YOU
want from an anime?
The fact that an anime is in the shounen/action/drama category does not mean its
not original. So every new shounen anime is destined to be clicheed just because
they are in the shounen/action category?
If you've been watching anime for a while like you seem to have, since you make
such comment, then you should know that its extremely difficult to come up with
an original anime because everything has been done before. What's left is how
creative the directors can be when creating the plot, the characters,
etc.
Fate Stay Night has a very interesting plot, if not original (I guess we can
compare its storyline to Konjiki no Gash Bell's). And because its interesting,
its fun to watch, thus worth our time. If you're waiting for an anime that is
absolutely original then have fun waiting. As for the rest of us, we'll be
having fun watching anime.
I really liked this series so far. There's a lot of cliff hangers to keep you
going.. I remember watching episode 2 like 5 times to compare the qualities
between the different sub groups... maybe I'm kind of new to this but what is
DC++? it somehow reminds me of mIRC.. where did i hear this from rofl?
Being bored at work sure gets the gears in the head going. 4 Episodes sofar, and
i'm already hooked (Been hooked long ago by the game). Really seems like its
going along with the first path in the game 'Fate'. If the series does well in
the market, then hopefully there might be a chance for them to release two other
'Side Stories' that display the two other possible paths in Fate/Stay Night.
Just another thought/wish that i can guarentee with 100% won't happen since
Anime budgets seem to get tighter as each new series comes out. Still, one can
hope and dream.
actually I dont think that will be possible, since Type Moon never did that with
Tsukihime
and translating the game into other languages will require a lower budget than
making a sidestory anime to Fate stay night.
And still, Type Moon has never translated their games into other languages. (i
think)
I have very high expectations for this anime, the story and characters look
really great and I'm awfully looking forward to this. 5 eps out so far, gonna
watch them this week and I hope I won't be dissapointed.
The story line seems to be complicating, but simple at the same time...
The fight seens were good and the story developes at normal pace.
I too have high expectations for this anime.
Probly my biggest problem with this anime is the soundtrack.
All or most of the songs are too "gloomy", and lacks the feeling of
excitement.
I love the anime myself and yes I have to admit that this does seem like a dark
anime. How killing the person is the best way to win in this search to the holy
grail. I have only seen ep 5 so far and that was a part 1 of 2.
I myself want to know what's all the servents names are... espically Archer
since he himself doesn't seem to know. One other thing I want to see more in it
is the relationship between Shiro and Rin... you know there is something there.
Its on the rage in Japan and South Korea right now... heard that they can't wait
for its release. I was begining to wonder if the game, which is not a new one,
has any contribution to the frenzy....
I went back and looked at a few images I had that I thought were random people
and seeing that they are actually characters from the anime. I had these for a
good year if not more so it makes me think how long has this been out now?
So far so good… F/SN is showing signs of great promise. In
balancing action and plot development, episode 3 is a good one as the first half
is devoted to fights, which is Saber facing off Lancer and subsequently Archer,
while the 2nd half focuses on more explanation about the War of the Holy Grail
and the introduction of the particularly influential character, Kotomine Kirei,
the Manager of the War.
I have to admire Ayako-sama for bringing out Saber’s stoicness in this
episode. Part of the beauty of Ayako-sama is that she is really talented at
bringing out the characters that she voices. She can use the same voice over and
over again and yet, I still can differentiate the individual characters she
plays from Mahoro right down to Fuu.
Production values remain high and the BGM arrangement continues to awe me.
I’ve also developed an big liking for the ED too, which really has great
dreamy quality to it, added with the awesome accompaniying visuals of Saber in a
wide open field, enhancing the dreaminess of it.
I was really curious to see how this would get animated, but the first few
episodes have really disappointed me. There is not anything that clearly says to
me "You want to watch this! You want to know the end!"

Saw the first 2 episodes last week, very high quality anime! Highly recommend seeing it!
For those who dont know, Fate/stay night was originally a H game, its made by Type-Moon which also did Tsukihime (Also H Game port o.O)
anyway, watch the first 2 episodes if you got the chance, once again it seems like its gonna be a GREAT anime series!
Some screenshots i took from the first two episodes:
If you want to see some more about the story of F/SN, launch DC++, connect to for example Otaku anime public, and dowload "Fate Stay Night Forces"
It is aa AMV, worth seeing....but I shall warn you!
SPOILRES!
Actually there are not so many, but ya know... If a spoiler has such cool music, it would be a sin not to dowload it ;]

For what i saw of the first epi it looks awsome ^^; i do not know how they will develop it
the manga seem to be pretty popular, so its not that surprising that the anime would be interesting.. can't wait for the 3rd episode.. ^^

the storys interesting.. I lie it.. but the way they introduce new characters every episodes kidna reminded me of Dark stalkers anime..
still great overall!
i think this anime might be as good as bleach. maybe. but im liking the anime so far. i mean shiro is so kind and loving towards saber
It seems to be quite a dark anime in my mind.
