well i for one loved mt back when we could go and look at peoples work that may
be better to enjoy and figure the way they did it or tutorial, i think mt is
lacking this i see alot better work but by the same people (just me or not) so i
thought id chime in on this little fact.
id liek ot list a few things mods and owners should very seriously revise or
rethink.
1 major thing is the download qouta what good is hosting qaulity work when we
can download it so many times ? i use themes on my xp recently just got back
from a major lan when to log on to change my background on mt and i had a 5
download qouta with about 40 pics deleted. (give they were not good but they
should atleast not count agaisnt one)
2 the amount of one people who post i.e gundamzz has some really amazeing work
same with many more mods then people like me who just use photoshop to do
abstract and dont understand or cant learn concepts of depth and feeling or
useing colors (granted ive come alogn ways from before)
3 random deletion of work killing the persons count is really bad i came on to
see i was completely destroyed in my art gallery where i had 2 pages i have half
a page lol im not made but im not happy.
main thing i think is bad is the qouta isnt mt sopost ot share the creaters work
and not still it for all i see the download qouta prehibits any and all respect
of a artist sure i can see all fine details in a pic 100x100 pixels lol hey
GREAT JOB ! and be a honest piece of crud. but in order to really look we got a
qouta ? i think it creates problems atleast for me.
i use alot of the mt scans for my sigs i do from tiem to time liek tonight i
made one for my cal and cevo cs 1.6 and src team i wonted a anime girl with
horns or a sword opps wait i cant get any i got 5 downloads left.
random rant from demonicwolf (some may remeber me some may not) but i think it
should be revised. or atleast give people with less art talent more chances to
see great art
I kind of agree with misto... the thumbnail just does not do justice to most of
the pics. How are we to judge and comment based on a many times scaled down pic
with compression noise? With 5 download quota, users are less likely to
'download' pics just to access the quality of the work.
There are many poor looking thumbs that look nice in full size and also ones
that look okay from the thumb but are awful. I find the thumb quality is really
annoying in terms of determining image quality as they are so highly compressed.
i havent once downloaded a pic sincei posted this, i may not beable to create
amazeing work but is that my fault ? i do try im just not good enough or smart
enough at this. i usely find other pic's i know this is dumb but must we really
use download qouta's i mean like these peeps said really dosent justify most of
these peoples works i mean you may have nice lookin pic but crumy qaulity when
opened, but a good one may look crummy so what do you do ?
