Well... I found Gantz quite disturbing in the beginning... But I agree with some
of the people here, Akira is seriously disturbing...
As a child I remember being extremely upset after watching Windaria... It took
me 15 years to be able to watch it again and find out that I was too young to
watch it then...
Blue gender is quit disturbing in my mind with all the killing and blood and
gross sounds and all. It was very scary too but that was probably because I was
young at that time. Still it was still disturbing.
i think the most icky i've seen or read was a manga series called
"Island". it posession, tenticles, blood, gore, etc. it gave me the
jibblies. looking back, i have no idea why i bought the first two volumes of it.
'La Blue Girl' because sex and tenticles would never be mixed...'EVAR'.
I think the most disturbing anime I've ever seen would have to be Akira. The
grotesque, swelling bodies and the amount of deaths. Plus the whole plot line, it
was just disgusting and disturbing.
Akira is most definitely disturbing as Tetsuo goes through his little fits.
Paranoia agent was distrubing in some ways, especially the episode with the
woman who had a split personality. I've only seen the previews of it, but the
one anime called Twighlight Master looked incredibly disgusting and scary. Grave
of the Fireflies was disturbing with the war images and it made me dwell too
much.
For me "LA Blue Girl" was the most disturbing anime I've seen probably
because of excess tentacles with sex...randomly watched part of an episode one
day and bleh...Evangelion's "Death and Rebirth" was also pretty
disturbing with all the different sorts of complex relationships and what
happened at the end but I liked it since it was very profound.
Probly the creepiest anime I've seen is Paranoia Agent. It progressively gets
creepier and creepier as they reveal more and more info about Li'l Slugger. It's
hard to describe, but any one who's watched it knows what I'm talking
about.
Geez everyone thinks that Akira was creepy...well it was; Blue Gender was kinda
creepy what with the bugs that looked like they had evil demonic vaginas on
their heads(I can't find any good pics, but ya know). And the La Blue Girl live
action was creepier than the anime(off topic).
The last episode of Excel Saga was kinda like "WTF?" and Puni Puni
Poemi. The brown haired girl (ARGH what is her name?!?) was HYPER beyond
understanding....
I'd have to say the most disturbing I've seen so far is Texhnolize. The whole
anime is so graphic (right in the beginning the protagonist has his arm and leg
cut off with a sword) and the ending... just wow (not happy, to say the least).
I'm still glad I watched it though, truly a great anime.
The ending, last two episodes of Cowboy Bebop. That messed me up for weeks. On
the other hand considering most endings in anime suck, that was a masterful end
to a excellent series.
FLCL since it was totally illogical. I don't to give anything away but if it's a
coming of age story like it's rumored to be, then it's the most screwed up
coming of age story ever.
Card Captor Sakura... seriously, this was a disturbing anime for me. I decided
to watch it because a friend of mine said it wasn't at all like it seems at
first glace(i.e. it's not a kiddy shoujo anime). I actually liked it, but I was
disturbed none the less.
I dont think Elifen lied was disturbing at all but thats just my opnion. In all
truth I would have to say La Blue Girl ... I saw a few minutes of this and
watned to rip my eyes out. Lets just say tenticles are NASTY!
The first time I watched Gantz, the violence and sexuality was really shocking.
But I'm glad I finished it because now I'm hooked on the manga(much better than
how the anime ended), and it is a very deep and amazing series.
ninja scroll. because i watched it when i was eleven years old (a friend of my
sister brought it over to our house becuase he said it was a good action anime -
it had a lot more action than what i expected ). after that, nothing else was disturbing.
i would have to say end of eva. VERY disturbing. T~T it made my mind go
HWATTTTT?! it's so mind-blowing. and shinji tried to kill asuka at the end?! but
asuka lived, then shinji cried. and they were the only ones left. so that means
they would relive humanity. and they're just 14 year olds. =_= too much for
those poor kids. T~T

Akira, Eva's and devil man/women makes me feel one kind after watching it.....

Both Akira and GANTZ are pretty disturbing. Probably due to the "neo-realistic?" portrayal of the events.

Anyone seen Basilisk? I found it really disturbing for some reason.
100 Stories (Requiem from the Darkness)
*spoiler*
The ending with the torture scenes was just o.O
*spoiler*
Elfen lied, the peple dying was something normal in anime but the history of May (i thinl thaths the name of the little girl) its very freaky

Elfen Lied!
Watch the blood bath and the gore
GG vectors!
apparently fruits baket, some of the people in the anime does look retaded, like that girl with the pigtails, she a retarded-looking bastard
There were many disturbing scenes for me in Full Metal Alchemist to many to mention but I still love the anime anyway.
