Flashget seems enough for me, but i don't use it often, i download my animes and stuffs on irc or with torrents.

DownloadManager n Flashget but usually use IDM more both are good ^__^

I used to use download accelrator plus, but it sends your personal details absoloutely everywhere so I stopped using it.

i dont use any accelerator and i'm doing fine.i usually download my anime using direct downloads and if i cant use direct downloads, i don't bother.laziness is one important factor to that behaviour

Anyway I haven't got a proper download manager at the moment and am looking for a good, non-spyware one, so keep posting.

used to be flashget, but that works for internet explorer and a lot of the sites refuse them.
So i technically just leave it as it is, unless I am using IE>

i used them ages ago and I don't think they help that much. i used the pause and resume dowloads functions, cuz IE doesn't have that function!

i think torrents are fine. i've always been using them, like bittornado or something.

I use a vpn connection to Campusnet (100 Megabit), they have got almost every anime, program or movie. Just finished Shichinin no Samurai.

I am not sure about other softwares to download anime or other things now that i have been using torrent softwares like bittornado. In the other hand, i would like to know how other softwares work. however, i can just download on weekends now that i cant leave the computer on all day, but i still have download most of the programs i want.

Use torrents. They are faster by comparison usually. It's also harder to find direct downloads for larger files because of webhosting problems.

I just download from servers normally, (I don't use a retarded browser like IE which can't even resume downloads), or if I want to put something in a script, wget.
