sailor moon and teknoman when i was in America. It wasn't till 10 when pokemon,
bubblegum crisis 2040 and NGE where i became a hardcore otaku
i only watched anime when i was at the end of 5th grade. .. so that
means it'll be, 11?.. lol.. not too long ago, and i never managed to watch that
many animes ..
About 12 years old, when I started watching the series that aired in the local
TV (Dragon Ball, Slayers, Magic Knight Rayearth and some others I don't
remember). I didn't know what anime is back then tho :P
I was like 4 I think when I saw my first anime, which was Voltron and the
transformers because I remembered I still wasn't in school yet. I might have
been 3 it was a long time ago.
When I was quite small there were series that I liked better than others; time
after I discovered that all my favourite series were japanese, or half japanese.
I loved things like Saint Seiya, Ribon no Kishi (reaaally old), and some
spanish-japanese productions like Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds or Around
the World with Willy Fog (based in Jules Vernes book).
I have no clue... actually I don't know because I thought at first that they
were one of those really nice cartoons when I was very young... only when I was
around 8 did I realize that they were called anime ^_^ I think around 4... he he

i started really late. probably middle school... when my brother brought home
rurouni kenshin and i totally fell in love. dunno... the quality of anime just
outdos "static shock" and all that other american cartoon junk. no
offense. =p

love with anime at once ! Not now , this kind of anime is not at my dictionary !

I've been watching anime since I was a kid, but at the time I didn't know it's
called anime, I watched classics like Kimagure Orange Road, The Wizard of Oz,
Rose of Versailles, Lupin, Robotech (omfg dubbed in macedonian o_O terrible dub
as always), Spoon Oba-san, this was actually a good dub and many other animes
from the 80's and early 90's.
I learned that anime is a word used for Japanese animation when I was 1st year
of high school and of course then I became a huge anime fan.
I started watching Dragonball Z when I was about 5 and not watched it for ages.
However it was chinese dubbed so I kinda forget the names of the characters. Now
I've been mostly watching Bleach.
Probably at around age 4-5 with STAR BLAZERS, BATTLE OF THE PLANETS, etc.
Definitely glad I was able to start with that stuff as it really helped
culminate a sense of imagination in this yung-un, at the time. Been enjoying
anime in various forms and degrees since.

Oh my God! I am indeed old! For
me it all started with Voltron (the vehicle series) then it led to Voltron; the
5 Lions, then to the Robotech Saga , Robotech The Sentinels.......and haven't
looked back since! I now look for cutting edge anime now; Yukikase, Initial D,
Last Exile, Appleseed 2004 the FMP Series (FMP, FMP: Fumoffu, and FMP TSR),
GundamWing and Gundam Seed; Destiny, and Macross Zero ranks in the Top 10. I
find the majority of my anime through Play Magazine.....
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels old. ^^;; and I know I'm not even that
old....

Sailor Moon came onto cartoon network (and even CCS on WB), then I got into it
again and been into it ever since. ^_^
