..I have yet to find an anime that makes me break out laughing.
Although, parts of Fruits Basket were marginally funny. =D
I dont really like Azumanga, FMP, or Excel Saga.. I'm just weird I guess.. o_o;
Love Hina. It's fun reading the all the girls in the dorm 'bully' a guy.
Especially when the guy told the girls that he is the landlord, which they force
him to clean the dorm....^_^
FLCL gives a lot of laughs, and so does FMP Fumoffu.
But for one that is pure comedy it has to be "Jungle wa Itsumo Hare Nochi
Guu" I just loved the characters, art, and comedy in it. It's a series of
pure comedy!
haha yup now FLCL is being recognized, hahah i haven't seen alot of these comedy
anime but i will check them out but keep the funniest anime in your opinion

Azumanga Daioh would be my favorite comedy anime. Other funny series are Ichigo
Mashimaro, Full Metal Panic Fumoffu, and School Rumble. If we're talking about
manga, I would say Yotsuba&! is funny (from the creators of Azumanga Daioh).
Ranma 1/2 and most of the author's work is excellent. Dragon ball is funny too
if you think about it. Lets not forget about sailr moon. Old stuff, I know, I
know~
i would say full metal panic fumoffu, GTO, and one piece is kinda funny too
since luffy acts kinda retarded. yakitate japan was a lot more funny in the
early episodes then it is now i think.
Hmm lets see. If I put them in order then it'll be something like this:

3. Dokuro-Chan (I dont know if any of you have seen it or not but its
hilarious)

Full Metal Panic Fumoffu and Fruits Basket
From the animes I've seen so far I've to say that One piece is the funniest anime, some scenes will just rip you apart!
For me it's Love Hina; that anime'll laugh your lungs out!

From what I've seen,I'd have to choose FMA and Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu! ...Sorry,I haven't seen \azumanga Daioh...although I've heard alot about it!

Despite it's short duration, it was really good, at least for me.

I don't get easily laugh by anime comedies, but maybe it's gravitation.
