For some reason I just can't sleep in class, even when I'm totally wiped out.
There's a group of 3 guys that are in some of my classes. They always are in the
back row and sleep through class...ironically they get the top scores on the
exams...blah...
University lecture halls are a godsend for this. Really comfortable soft chairs
and being like a hundred metres from the lecturer makes it easy to catch some Zs
I do I do! I fall asleep in almost every class, especially when the teacher is
being boring and talking and all I have do is take notes. Especially in math and
science. The only classes I don't sleep in is Band and Japanese. Band because
well... it's hard to fall asleep while sitting in a chair, keep your instrument
up, make it look like you're pay attention and playing, and not falling over...
plus the fact that everyone else is playing doesn't make it all that easier to
fall asleep in. Japanese... *cringe* my teacher comes up with the weirdest, and
cruelest punishments...
She takes your picture and hangs it on the Wall of Sleep.
And it stays up there...
*laughs* I fall asleep in my Civics class everytime we read, since we hafta read
the lesson ourselves. I'll read like the first section(we hafta read the whole
chapter) I'll be asleep. My friends will just sit there and watch me sleep then,
they'll laugh when I wake up and tell me what I was doing while I was asleep. I
remember one time I was writing in that same class and I fell asleep and my hand
was still writing!
lol not only do i fall asleep in class, i fall asleep at work and one time i
took my lunch break at work, and went to my car and sleep. i slept for so long
that my boss had to call me and ask where i went.
I always fall asleep during Algorithms class. The teacher is so lame and boring
and static that a whole goes by and he is still talking about the same boring
subject.... it's like time stands still during that class... anyone ever felt
like that?
LOL OF COZ! once i had to stay up 4 about 3~4 days without sleep since that it
was exame week and assignment week. at one point i felt like that i was about to
die since that i didnt get any sleep. So, i decided in german class [don lyk
german btw... no affence] that i will sleep and i do not care what the teacher
says. and so i slept though the double and da teacher did not say a thing LOL.
my teacher was scared of me [meaning i bully them and give them a hard time if
they're not nice to me^^]
slept through some accounting classes, it was just a boring course. and geometry
- that teacher has this voice that's meant to make you drowsy. I remember I sat
in the front roll, but still, I fell asleep through couple of his classes.
Happens a lot at my school. I've fallen asleep in World History II and Geometry,
Fundamentals of Catholism... The policy in our school is that you're responsible
for your studies. If you want to sleep through a class, fine. You just miss that
day's lesson
I never fall asleep in class. But I used to have a classmate who do sleep in
class. Once he slept while standing. (In addition with hands holding book)
I always had a hard time when they'd turn on a documentary of some kind, after
lunch, then flip the lights off. Oh, but stay awake!
I'm pretty sure that time doesn't move so slowly as when you cannot sleep and
are forced to watch this or that at school. Minutes are counted in hours. That
said, waiting for food to be done (whether it's waiting at the table, the
microwave ticking down, whatever) is right up there as well.
alllll the time, but I somehow managed to learn while I was sleeping and had a
tendency to be woken up by the teacher and answer their suprise question to the
sleeping student correctly everytime.
Now being in college I can sleep all I want or just not show up to classes and
no one cares.
i *use to* fall asleep alot in class. Everytime we had a class where the we
watched a documentary or somewhat, id be asleep within 5 minutes into it. But
now i dont fall asleep as much, maybe because im actually learning new
stuff.
Use to have a friend in class that always drooled when he fell asleep, always
left a lil pool of saliva where he was sleeping.

i guess i had my share of times that sleepyness won over my fighting spirit in
certain classes where i shouldn't sleep
(oh well ^^)
however some of the times, i chose to sleep because the class was too lame....

Me? I always fall asleep in class. Sometimes, its because I'm tired. Sometimes,
its because the weather makes you sleepy. Mostly, though, its because I'm
half-bored to death by the teacher. Some teachers just have this unbelievably
hypnotic voice. Its a real talent, really. I can't see how a person can, by
virtue of their voice alone, drive more than half of the people listening to
them to sleep. I don't even fall asleep so easily when there is complete
silence.
wow health class with all of they're BORING movies?! ya i'm asleep... well that
and it's my first real class of the day equalling nap time! that and my last
class is physics and i sleep during that too...
i have fallen asleep at least 6 times in one class in one day everyday, since i
kept wakking up every 5-15 mins.At least 7 months after finally learn to stay up
in every class...
That happens often when I'm bored or I failed to get enough sleep the previous
night. It doesn't help to have a case of narcolepsy to go along with that

ive fallen asleep in class habitually. im usually awake 30 hours before i step in the door.
