I wanted to throw a brick into Wolf's Rain. The story seemed so promising until
they hit all those filler episodes, then it was just a whole lot of running!
YARG! And they had good Kanno music, too, how could they mess it up!?
Mmmm such a difficult question, I think I was disappointed with Tenchi Muyo,
Candy Candy (this one was the worse, I stilll hate that Candy didn't end up with
Terry... it's like the end of Dawson's creek awfull no one ends up with the
right person grrr), Shoujo Kakumei Utena, etc. They're too many to count,
because I had to admit that they're a lot of animes who start ok and then they
go on with boring episodes, useless scenes, boring jokes, etc. So, this far
Candy Candy was the worse of all, I was a child when I first saw it and the
frustration for me at that times was terrible... I cried so much because it was
so unfair lol and I couldn't do anything .
Quote by Angel-Lizzyi was
dissapointed in ghost in the shell....
i heard so much good about it....
saw so much pics...
and at the end...
the movie was realy bad...
anyway .... there are enough animes outthere and theyre still coming...
Kisses
Lizzy
Seconded. I can't watch that anime, it bores me to
death.
And you know what was also disappointing? Sakura
wars and Aria. The first is still watchible, but the second....
Quote by narutoKRAZYNaruto (i don't
know if this counts because the series isn't officially over ^_^;)
There are too many fillers and it's really getting annoying...
Actually, i forgot where the anime left off in the same continuum as the manga
but the anime company producing it said that they were going to run an entire
year of filler episodes. I think it was
because they were getting a little too close to the manga and would have caught
up. If that happened, then they would essentially run out of story and have to
create fillers anyway.
I too was pretty disappointed in Inuyasha. I liked the series (stupid episodes
and all) but i felt really ripped off cause NOTHING was resolved. Not a single
thing. Thats just mean.
Abenobashi Mahou Shoutengai - some snobs insist that it's only for 'expert anime
otaku' - mind that I've seen about ten times more anime than aome of that
persons. Abenobashi is rubbish - stupid jokes and lame art. And I've wanted to
watch it soooo much. Great disappointment.
Ark The Lad - I expected much more from this. And it appeared to be just one
more overextended fighting.
Berserk - I've been said that it's great thing. Couldn't even watch to an
end.
Chobits - rrrrrr... Kawai must die.
Full Metal Alchemist is good from one point of view, still it was disappointment
- it could be much better. Though the end is intriguing. For the people who
don't know russian ^_^ - the song in the last episode (not the ending) is singed
on russian and the words are like this: 'forgive me, my little brother, it's my
fault. One cannot return what've been taken and rest under ground. Who knows the
rule of existance should've helped me to find the answer - I'd terribly mistaken
- there was no cure from death. Dear mommy we loved you so much but all our
strength was wasted in vain' and so on. This song is so inadequate to the video
that it seems two different stories are described in the same time - the one for
those who watch anime and the second to those who understand russian. So I must
say FMA was not a complete disappointment.
Ghost in The Shell - SAC. I've heard much about it but still cannot understand
what good is in it? It's not even the cyberpunk as it've been declared. Just
anothe boring SF.
Gokudo Kun Manyou - One man said 'If u like Slayers it's for u' - shit. It's
stupid.
Iria Zeiram - It's my fault to beexpecting much of this. I've seen some
wallpapers and thought it shoud be good. It was not.
King of Bandits Jing in Seventh Heaven - no comments. But TV was good
Matanei Loki Ragnarok - amv seemd to be good. Anime was not so good as amv
^_^
Perfect Blue - well, I just dislike psychological bosh without any
subject.
Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight - just another trash.
Expected more.
Steel Angel Kurumi - after watching amv I've been expecting something good.
Great disillusionment.
Tactics - First episodes were good. But it gradually degenerated to the complete
nonsence.
Visions of Escaflowne - good but boring.
X (tv) - I've seen amv 'das omen' - it's much better than series. I mean really
much better.
Dragonball (Z;GT); Pokemon(the idea was good but they messed up the whole
series); same for Digimon!^^
These series where on TV in my country and maybe everyone will say the same that
animes shown everyday in TV sometimes are horrible!
umm i kinda hated full metal alchemist.. not that much! just a little. maybe i
was expecting more from SQUARE-ENIX, the company who gave us the very wonderful
final fantasy game series.
it was good though.. for mateur people who appreciates death and plot twists.
it was just.. 'what the h***' in the beginning-refering to the armor(alphonse)
and the metal hand of elric- but as the story moves, i started to like it.
metal alchemist was with SQUARE-ENIX.....WHAT?!?! WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN?! maby
i'm falling behind in trends...T_T. if you havn't watched the movie of full
metal, i suggest you should. =_= its basicly the ending if i'm not told wrong.
Shakugan No Shana. I'm really getting tired of the whole "identity"
crisis theme. The series had a good start to it, then started to dampen down.
And what's with that ending?
The other day I watched Inuyasha. Yes yes, everybody's seen it. Only I hadn't,
and everybody was raving so much about it, I thought it must be good. So I put
it in the dvd player, turn it on, and promptly get bored. I'll say its decent,
but certainly no more than that. I don't quite understand what the big deal is -
I've seen much better. I even switched from Subbed over to Dubbed and back again
just in case one was a lot better than the other. Subbed is better, but both are
still boring. A disappointing watch all round.
gundam seed destiny - really, they ruined some of it!
naruto - its getting too long.so many unimportant eps, they should justgo back
to the real story... im starting to lose my interest on it. maybe ill watch it
when they go back on chasing sasuke...
^I have to agree about Kare Kano..it started off so good and then the recaps was
just getting so out of control that it seemed to take half of the episode
especially toward the end whihh was incomplete since the Manga continued. that
really bothered me a bit since I wanted a concluded anime ending and there
wasn't one. Aishiterezu Baby was another dissapointment..the voices were really
grating on my nerves and the story really didn't go anywhere...in my opinion it
just seemd to revolve around the same premise so I was pretty bored toward the
end. it was a miracle I finished watching this series period.
Gundam Seed Destiny (went straight downhill as original cast returned)
Macross Zero (too much magical mystic stuff, not enough military
action)
Gunparade March (The whole school-life / mecha action just didn't go well
together with their formula)
Maburaho (Wierdest and most anti-climatic ending ever)
Area 88 Original Series (Incredibly unrealistic aerial combat sequences, pilot
seeking bullets, planes that blow up very easily and pilots who don't know how
to dodge missiles)
Full metal Panic: 2nd Raid (Whilst I enjoyed it, Kaname just didn't get enough
screen time)
About NGE i wasn't dessapointed It's just the end of it was little boring!
I was dessapointed with Hellsing! Don't ask why it's just I don't like that the
Police girl became Vampir and she had to drink blood! Other wise the story was
good and I enjoy it!

I thought that Tsubasa Reservior Chronicles was a complete disapointment. The manga is a lot better.
Seconded. I can't watch that anime, it bores me to death.
And you know what was also disappointing? Sakura wars and Aria. The first is still watchible, but the second....
Ugh. Worst. Manga. I. Have. Ever. Read.
I was so disappointed of Ichigo
It was such a good anime but they had to end it
so unfair, I wich they made more
i was greatly disappointed in inuyasha, they drag it out for THAT long and then they dont even like really finish it
lame...
Naruto (i don't know if this counts because the series isn't officially over ^_^;)

I think the Evangelion anime was a total mistake
It's overrated, in my opinion. There wasn't much substance, despite its
originality of its time.
Honey and Clover. Couldn't get into the series mainly due to the animation and story.
Including Shaman King, the animation reminds me of Yu-Gi-Oh. And Gokujou Seitokai.
gundam seed destiny - really, they ruined some of it!
naruto - its getting too long.so many unimportant eps, they should justgo back to the real story... im starting to lose my interest on it. maybe ill watch it when they go back on chasing sasuke...
The most disapointing anime - for me - was the anime version of Fruit Basket.
Too short...
ummm...samurai champloo is pretty bad..i dont know whats going on ever...very strange...

Bosco's adventure, I hated the final, was due I wanted to change the end that I becomed in writer
