To me, no anime/manga has ever beaten ichigo 100%(manga) in love/tragic series besides air and fruits basket(manga)

Ichigo 100% isn't tragic, Manaka just can' t make up his mind.

I've never watched Gundam Seed, but I know Ichigo 100% isn't tragic. Like GrieverZero said, Manaka is just an idiot.

Yeah I've seen one episode or an OVA I can't remember...I dont remember Ichigo 100% being a tragedy...more of a Love Comedy...so yeah I am gonna vote Gundam Seed is a yes...by far. Actually I'm a little lost as to why even compare them...2 different genre's I think.

I don't think u can really compare the two... They are very different animes and really have very little in common.

The only tragic thing about Ichigo 100% was the main character's indecisivness. Ay-chama is right, if Ichigo 100% was tragic then so was Love Hina (both are outright harem animes/mangas ).

Gundam Seed did have its tragice moments since it is an anime about an intergalactic war.

No, i think Ichigo 100% is Very tragic. Maybe you just can't imagine, for example Aya's situation when Manaka chooses Nishino and her devotion to him for all these years have been in vain, the same goes for Satsuki..... There is nothing funny about that, but the ending is still very good.

Love Hina a tragedy?! Love Hina is a Comed/Romance Harem type...I've only read a little Ichigo 100% and seen a couple of the eps but...I have no idea what is tragic about it at all. Gundam Seed is a Scifi/Action that does involve some tragedies like "Bloody Valentine" incident? Did I spell that right? Whats not tragic about a nuclear missile detonating in the center of one of the colonies...it wasn't only the fact that the missile killed a lot of people but the sudden loss of oxygen all those innocent people dying...thats a tragedy. Kira being shoved into a war he wanted no part of, having to fight against his best friend just so more innocent people dont get killed it's all quite tagic. In fact that's what made it such a good anime...I have only seen the 2 first eps of Destiny...but man thats already quite tragic too...Shinn's family dying like they did, he too having to join up cause it's the only thing that he thinks can justify his families death, or atleast get revenge for them.

if rejection was so tragic, then yes, LH is just as much a tragedy as ichigo. that'd also make about every romance title tragic. *i'm NOT saying that Love Hina OR Ichigo 100% IS btw*

tragedy shouldnt be aya not being able to clearly say "i love you" to manaka, that was her own fault (remember, i read from start to end, so dont say it... i know). tradegy is aya just about to say "i love you" and being hit by a car and dying or something.

Indeed...what you just said there reminds me of the movie Meet Joe Black...anyone else see Brad Pitt get smeared by 2 cars?! Sorry...some reason I found that a little funny when it happened...does that make me sick? It was only a movie.
