For me its the last four episodes of wolf's rain. But the one were Hughes gets
killed by Envy was tragic and numerous other incidents in Full Metal Alchemist
was tragic for me.
almost every time a important character that i liked dies
FMA-> Hughes gets killed
GS->Mwu get killed
Trigun->Wolfwood gets killed
Gungrave->Brandon gets killed
In shuffle! i really thought that rin-chan was going to get together with kaede.
But asa-senpai is really cool too, but sad for kaede, she really got crazy at a
point in the serie.
in FMA are so many tragic moments in special when Envy Kill Hughes T__T or when
nina die
Ya know I have to agree with you I believe the most tragic moment I have ever
seen in an anime was the death of Maes Hughes. For a character to be so likeable
and for to be around for 25 episodes of the series, you dont see his death
coming if you ask me I was shocked and the ending in fact brought a tear to my
eye. The part where Ed, Al and Winry are on the train and Ed thinks he see's
Hughes on the platform was just gutwrenching if you ask me. I was disturbed also
by Nina's condition not so much her death but by the fact that a man would do
something like that to his own daughter and apparently his wife, her death was a
mercy killing I think she was in more pain living that way. In that respect I
think Scar did the only thing anyone could do for her anymore.
When Hughes dies in FMA,i found him funny yet annoying in the begining(spamming
his friends with photos of his daughter),but he grows into a very likeable
character.
The saddest part was at the burial,while they were burying him,and his daughter
goes "Why are they burying daddy?How is he going to work like
that?"
end of evangelion....herm. the end of Gundam wing wasnt exactly tragic but it
was a little i guess. naruto:when haku and Zabuza die. Oh! and samuraiX when
Tomoe-chan gets nearly cut in half by kenshin.

That was really heartwrenching for me......
Yeah, I found the burial of Hughes to be extremely tragic, especially the part
where Roy says "it's raining" as tears fall down his face. That part
really moved me.
And for some reason I found the end of Iriya no Sora to be very tragic when that
old guy in charge or Iriya dies... the actual death of Iriya wasn't so tragic as
it became obvious she was near death by the end of the series.
in hikaru no go when sai dissappeared it was very sad. hikaru gave up on go at
that moment and went to other places to look for him.

Either every ending of an anime
or a love anime, There's ton of tragic moments
most tragic i've seen was in Ichigo 100%(manga)
where Toujou and Satsuki got turned down by manaka
The ending of Cowboy Bebop. The way the whole last scene was done, I found it
quite moving.
Also Hoshi no Koe and the ending to Samurai X - Love and Betrayal, as well as
the overall theme generated in Kimi ga Nozomu Eien.
the most tragic moment in an anime or manga is when your favourite character
dies...
so....Neon Genisis Evangelion is a total tragedy...
Or the moment Kenshin thought Kaoru would be dead...
Or the moment Tomoe jumped between Kenshin and the ninja and were be
killed....and the last words..."gomennasai...anata...".... how tragic
T^T
I think there are different ways to find something tragic....but the most tragic
moment is,of course,when a beloved person dies
then...the tears do not end...
chobits - freya choose to disappear, give chii back to hideki
D.N.Angel - the end of second hand of time, that was tragic, i got my t-shirt
wet. also when dark has to disappear from niwa in the end of the anime
Da Capo - when everybody face the problem because sakura tree is dying
Elfen Lied - Lucy killed Kouta's family, and she cries for what she has
done
FF AC - Cloud meet Aerith in the way to ancient forrest, i know exactly cloud's
feeling when he have to lost aerith in the last battle
GS - Mwu die to protect Arcangel, and Flley get killed to
GSD - this sounds crazy but i cried when freedom was detroyed by impulse.
freedom is a gift from lacus, and shin destroyed it (i cried about 1-2 hours,
and from that moment i swear i will make shin and his gundam my biggest enemy in
gundam series)
Ichigo 100% - Manaka choose Nishino than Toujo (that makes me cry 4 hours. i
understand toujo's feeling, i feel the same with my girl i felt in
love)
Tsubasa Chronicle - Sakura lost her memories of shaoran, and she can't call back
her memories when she spends time with syaoran
Mine Would Have To Be In 'Fruits Basket' Where Tohro Finds Out About Kyo's Real
Secret. That Or About Momiji's Mum Disowning Him Because Of Who He Was.
Yes there is a more or less tragic events in every anime or manga.
If i would choose the most tragic (or miserable if you like) moment then it's
definetely End of Evangelion.... omg, it sucks so hard!
But the most tragic and beautiful moment is in when Tomoe dies..... sacrificing
herself and leaves Kenshin in misery. That really is tragic....
And also in Ichigo 100%, Manaka chooses Tsukasa over Aya and Satsuki in the end.
Though it is a good ending, you cant't help feeling really sorry for Aya and
Satsuki. It still hurts in my chest when thinking of it.
For me its the last four episodes of wolf's rain. But the one were Hughes gets killed by Envy was tragic and numerous other incidents in Full Metal Alchemist was tragic for me.
The most tragic moment in anime well i think Evangelion has a lot such as shinji having to kill Kaoru Nagisa.
almost every time a important character that i liked dies
FMA-> Hughes gets killed
GS->Mwu get killed
Trigun->Wolfwood gets killed
Gungrave->Brandon gets killed
phew, thats a lot of sad killing..
In shuffle! i really thought that rin-chan was going to get together with kaede. But asa-senpai is really cool too, but sad for kaede, she really got crazy at a point in the serie.

The moment Chrno and his beloved dies. Very Sad indeed
I haven't seen a lot of tragic animes lately... Now there's something tragic.
Gundam Seed Destiny - Stellar's death
OMG, that was so sad i wet the sofa... *laughs.
Fullmetal Alchemist - Nina and Hughes' death
Nina didn't deserve to be killed by Scar! *sniffs*
Hughes' death was too sudden.
Wet the sofa and computer respectively, lol.
In Excel Saga...
That first time that Excel dies... *tear* she had so much promise!
What's the most tragic moment in an anime? Of Course when someone dies!
For me it is the most tragic moment when my favourite charachter dies....
Air - misuzu died in her her mother's hand
chobits - freya choose to disappear, give chii back to hideki

every anime have tragic moment, to many to tell
Mine Would Have To Be In 'Fruits Basket' Where Tohro Finds Out About Kyo's Real Secret. That Or About Momiji's Mum Disowning Him Because Of Who He Was.
Stellar's death in Gundam seed destiny
Death of the younger sister in Grave of the Fireflies
Wolfwood's death...
Wolf's Rain ending.
There was absolutely no way that it could work out. I mean the longest phrase she could say was "Protect me Shinn"... I was glad she finally died...
**SPOILER**
