I like Black Hawk Dawn, Saving Private Ryan, We were soldier because it's very
cool. War in Lord of The Ring also cool, and for the alternative I think
Legiuner is not bad too.
Difficult... Some top ones are Enemy at the gates and Schindlers List.
But also Battle of Britain, that movie saved the remaining flying Spitfires and
Hurricanes from extinction.
Too bad the Messerschmit 109s arent original, they are equipped with Rolls Royce
Merlins...
I think it's Band Of Brothers hands down that movie was long but didn't skip a
beat and was clean and precise almost like if u were actually there, i thought
that was wicked cool. Black Hawk Down was also cool.
Black Hawk Down had so much gore and action, I liked it, I liked Pearl Harbor
since it had some good humor and lots of action, there was another movie about
Pearl Harbor, I think it was called Empire in the Sun or something like that, it
was about a boy who got seperated from his parents so the Japanese take him
captive and he makes friends with older captive men and finally meets his
parents again.
"Battle of Brittain" - 'cause it was the last of the truely totally
politically incorrect "Pip-pip Tally Ho! What!" movies. Plus it had
Spitfires and Hurricanes and all that other cool stuff.
The first half of "Full Metal Jacket" was hilarious. So that one's in
there somewhere.
Going to have to say "Kokoda" as well, just because of the particular
battle it's about.
I think it'll be "Saving Private Ryan". Why? Well, because it's not
all 'bout battle. There are some drama in it too. And the ending is quite
surprising for me. At first, I thought Tom Hanks really blow up a panzer only
with a pistol...
And talk about drama, I like "Enemy at the Gates" as well. Besides
containing some love story, it's rare to find a war movie focused on snipers...
Man, snipers are cool! One-on-one sniper duel is very...well, cool!

Its and italian movie about a man trying to keep his son away from the pain and
suffering of world war 2.
It doesn't really focus on the war itself, but life and a concentration camp. I
find it really inspiring, and if you like that sort of stuff I'd highly
recommend it.
Ill have to double this one. Its really inspiring and touches your heart.
I would recommend this movie, it doesnt hold anything back from the reality of
the concentration camps.
well... i looove those oldies with not so much high tech animation and all....
so i would say "The Longest Day" a movie about D-Day or "Memphis
Belle" a movie bout that very famous B-17 bomber.... boy do I love those
movies.... oh and what about Battle of Britain! man... ive heard lotsa great
things about that movie... i even got the soundtrack which is great! but...
unfortunately i havent seen it>.<... anyways.... any WWII weaponry fans
out there?
Saving Private Ryan and We Were Soldiers are my favorites.
I HATED Pearl Harbor, it's more of a love story than a war movie. (even veterans
who fought in the actual war viewed it as a abomination and a joke, watched a
documentary about it)
huh...no love for Schindler's List?
That is one hell of a deep and meaningful movie worthy of attention, not much about action, but it is deep.
Behind Enemy Lines for me.
And although the it is not a movie (it's a mini series), the following is my all time favorite: Band of Brothers.
Peace out! 8)

Black Hawk Down, Windtalkers, Patton , Band of Brothers, and The Longest Day (1962) are really good.
