My relationship with my parents is actually pretty great. We have our
differences, but basically get along. While I don't indulge many secrets with
them, we're able to spend time together and share some common interests. I think
I'm a lucky person in that area.
My parents and I get along very well. As long we don't start talking about
politics, homosexuality, and God we're good. I seem to become the only person in
my family do deviate from their evangelical christian nature. But otherwise, we
get along great coz in the end, we love each other too much to let such things
destroy us.
mine is..um, well, i dunno. i hardly talk to my dad but i respect him alot even
though we're not very close. My mum, i dislike her alot most of the time and i
better not get in2 that.

Is good, I think, even that sometimes I have some fights with my mom, treats me
like I was 15 and lately she is getting in my babys education, and I don't like
it, this could bring LOTS of problems and I want to avoid them. >.>
My mom's cool and all, but my dad, let's just say he's the reason I'll be moving
out and in with my friend asap. We've hated each other, ever since I was
young...

she's there for me when I need someone. She likes the same things I do -- music,
movies, cats, horses, ice skating -- and she was a marching band member when she
was in high school just like I was.
My relationship with my dad has improved a lot since I started college. He and I
still lock horns, but we don't fight like we used to, nor as much. He likes
horseracing, and he came to all my soccer games and all the home football games
when I was in high school, so I guess we sort of got to know one another better
that way.
I think me and my parents are cool.... but there's a big difference when i

and all... but when it comes to my dad... i get scared... he has this aura that
comes bursting out when he goes into the room... that's one reason why i'm not
that close with my dad... he's just too scary... not physically but by the way
he looks at you!

not well. i can't really talk to my dad without him getting mad at me. talk to
him for like fifteen minutes and just leave. my relationship with my mom is okay
but sometimes we just can't talk about anything. im the black sheep of the
family, my other two brothers are alike which are the ones favored by my
parents.
My Dad...I have not spoken to him for 10 years about now..we hate each
other....my mom..okay...I hate her...she loves me. Well Everybody have different
realtionship...My little siblings..well they hates our parents..my son, he loves
my parents...what the heck! Nothing i can stop love.

I hated my parents because they never understood or listened to me. We argued
constantly, especially my mother and I. After I moved out and they lost all
control over my life, they started treating me more like an adult. Perhaps I
proved something by making it on my own, or maybe they gave up trying to
influence my every action. Either way, I don't spend a lot of time with them,
but I do love them, and they still care about me.
I really didn't get along with my parents until I moved out...now my mom and I
are best friends. Its amazing when you get out on your own and make it yourself,
it makes things much better. She spoils the crap out of my child though!

me with the ups and downs and the changes of life for me. Ive lived with her for
years and i feel rather indifferent to my dad.

trends, thinking that parents are old fashioned and all.... what's the big deal?
Its not that all parents don't keep up with times, its just that they don't
participate in those 'trivial' matters, that's all.
Sometimes its just best to talk it out and see what they really feel. Arguements
between parents and their childern ususally starts from different points of
view, and sometimes, well most of the time, our parents's views are far-sighted
and look into the long-term welfare, unlike of many youths who want things to
happen right now.
Perhaps if we understand the pressure we face in the future, as in work and
finance, perhaps these arguements will diminish by time. I hope so.

leaving my mum but it doesn't mean I don't love him anymore or anything. He
lives in a different city but he calls me and stuff and takes me and my lil
sister out shopping and stuff when he comes here so it's all cool. Mum's awesome
of course...she lives down the street from me and always helps me out when I
don't have much money or food and she gets me drunk lmao
