I see. Well as for me, I really love them as a couple and as individual characters especially Kira.

You bet I like this couple ! They are my favourite anime couple ever. Most people think that they have a cold relationship (compared to eg Asuran and Cagalli), but I think deep down inside they have the biggest passion of all burning. I think it's lovely how they both care so much about each other. Lacus eased Kira's mind and healed his wounds (mental and physical) after the war in Seed, and Kira saved Lacus' life a couple of times in Destiny. I think that shows that they were really meant to be together.
I'm a huge Kira fan ya know. He's ever so cool (the hair, the outfits (I have an outfit that's like the one he wears in Destiny), his Newtype abilities, his fighting skills, ...) When you go to my userpage you'll see I'm telling the truth Oh and what's even more. I'm a huge Kira fan, and my girlfriend is a huge Lacus fan ! And the nice thing is that we call ourselves that way. So you could say that we're the real-life Kira and Lacus

YESSSSS another thread bout my favorite couple in da world....yes indeed dey are the best couple ever...i love how dey care soo much for eachother without having to smooch and cuddle al da time........i like how dey could keep such a strong connection without having to do dat....a very mature and passionate couple n best ever....if u havent notice..in da whole Destiny series...Kira n Lacus are the only couple dat actually "lasted" from the beginnin to the end of the serie!

i think they're boring. true, they suit each other very very well, a match made in heaven in fact, but somehow...they're too predictable for me no offense, i think they make a great couple, they're loving, and very sweet, it's just that they aren't my favourite couple from GS/GSD. just my thoughts k.

Well said, Milk. I don't know why but I feel that they are like two old people in the show. That's why their so boring. No angst at all. *tries not to start cursing*

I liked them better in SEED than Destiny, because their relationship really grows (and Kira's such a cute little boy crying on Lacus' lap ). I love how Lacus is able to heal Kira and direct him about his decisions in the war. and giving him the Freedom despite having to lose everything is just so touching. I like the subtleness of their relatiionship, of how Lacus likes Kira a lot, and over time, Kira liked her too.

Like someone said, I love how they don't have to have too much physical contact to be able to have that connection. I see their love as very spiritual.

However, in Destiny, it's been decided that they're a couple, so there's no real conflict or angst, and what with the openings endings and eyecatches with them together, I get the feeling of the pairing getting shoved down your throat by the producers

My opinion of course, but Lacus and Kira are just so.. I dunno, perfect, that it's sort of starting to be less believable....

oh, and for fellow Lacus/Kira fans, a question: if they have children, but they're not genetically modified (since they're no longer in PLANTs), would they be considered Naturals (since they're born naturally), or Coordinators (since thier parents are both Coordinators)? just an odd question...
