Hello to all our great wallpaper and CG artists ^^

Due to reasons that arent worth being mentioned here i was dealing with P2P filesharing recently and even though (at least here in Germany) the laws about literary property etc have been tightened, i have seen lots and lots of MP3s there, but also many images are round there.
Now a question came up with me: Would the artists who put their works here on MT mind their pics being shared on those netowrks? I mean the thing with the lterary property and so on... It's not like the sharers would claim the files as their own works or something, no, they only want other users to see them as well (at least the most of them do).

So, please, artists, tell your opinion ^^

NOTE: I would like the mods and admin not to post any official stuff about copyright and stuff here. I am asking the artists what they think about it (of course I dont mind the personal opinions, but please no official stuff ^^)

EDIT: What i forgot to mention: one thing why the copyright is obvious is that actually every artist on MT includes their nick on the pics, and if someone sould cut that away, itll be harder to spread the cut pic cuz the other version is already online and the users prefer pics with standard dimensions

I don't care. As long as my signature on the image is intact. I'm just making it for the fun of it. I'm not gonna spend my time caring about people ripping or whatever. If I see someone that uses some of my work, I'll take that as a "Oh my god, your work is so great and I really suck ass so I'm gonna use (some of) it."

Besides, in all my wallpapers. I didn't make the characters anyway, so I don't consider it "my" work. I'm just a scan -> wallpaper converter. And as I said. I'm making them for the fun of it.
