ok i just read this pbxanime.com is saying that cartoon network adult swim has picked up the rights to BLEACH! now usually this would be a source of joy for me but it's not now all i keep thinkin of is naruto's annoying english voice and what shall they do to maim ichigo, well u can read more about this at http://www.pbxanime.com/#6584 anyway i'd like all bleach fans thoughts on this, u can poll this too

I'd rather pay good money for the DVDs, than watch a dubbed version of Bleach...The japanese language and english is just not the same.

I am not in a situation where I can rent Bleach very easily. I HATE buying something without seeing an episode or two at least. Airing it on Cartoon Network will give some of us a preview and hoepfully make us fans of the series. I own Cowboy Bebop (the first series I purchaed) because I got hooked on it on Cartoon Network.

Well i personally believe that it is a good thing...This way many Bleach Fans Will have the chance to see their favorite series in Tv..U see it's not an easy thing to buy or download them!;)

Cartoon Network has nothing to do with the dubbing of the voices, it's the company that licensed it. Cartoon Network is just playing what's been made.

It quite good for everyone who can actually enjoy Bleach anime without needing to pay for it. If i could have Cartoon Network channel on my tv programs I would definitely watch it again! And what did someweirdguy written earlier is true. So, Bleach would be MORE POPULAR than ever!

That's right. CN only plays it on T.V. If you want to complain about sumthing, than make all complaints towards Viz who got the rights to Bleach, voice-overs and all...

IMO, VIZ doing the voice-overs and everything for Bleach is kind of a bad thing. I never really liked VIZ's choice of voice-actors for the anime, but bleh that's my opinion. The licensing of the anime was bound to happen...

That is true, but there is another problem: how much of Bleach will be cut because of blood and other stuff. That seems to be another problem. However, this shouldn't be a huge problem since it will be showing on Adult Swim.

i love bleach and i think its great that it might be on cartoon network i know anime lovers that arent able to download anime and they are not rich so when cartoon network gets great animes like bleach they can watch them for free

so thinks its a good idea...now ppl who love it can see it without buying anything and new addictees can be addicted to the series...hoot hoot...i love adult swim..its the greatest thing that ever happened!

well i think its priti gud seein as theyre guna b showin bleach on tv rather then takin my time dling but then its got me a lil woried cus i just now there guna mess with ihci like they did with naruto gahh! makes me angry but then iv never like the voice actors from viz...just my opinion on this..well it was bound to happen 1 of these days...and another thing...thers proably gunna be sum eiting in it too... ...hopefully not to much..wll later..

Variety is good, in my opinion. SADLY! latin cartoon network pretty much SUCKS! It has nothing worth seeing...and the japanime shows it has, are really crappy.... Cartoon Network should really care a little more about latinamerica too!

it's good, because it brings Bleach to fans who can't download the episodes or view them online. On the other hand, it's bad, because look what happened with Naruto and Inu Yasha. Even though Bleach will be on Adult Swim (from what I've heard, that's what will happen), it's going to suck.

It is nice that it's available to all who have Cartoon Network, but the way Bleach is, I doubt anyone can wait a week just for the next episode. Especially when we're probably years away from seeing the English versions of the current episodes.

FINALLY! *screams* Lots of people seem to not like dubbed versions of animes cuz they say all the voice actors sound the same, but I rather like ones that they did a GOOD job on WITHOUT crappy script writers, like the Inuyasha movies, FMA and Rurouni Kenshin. Naruto was done horribly, but it'll be easier to find voice actors for Bleach cuz the main characters are older. I'd like to see someone with a voice like Richard Ian Cox for Renji and Paul Dobson for Byakuya, but I have no idea what Ichigo would be in English!

If it's dubbed as well as Cowboy Bebop (and Champloo?), then it'll win. Since Bleach has that sort of stylish act to it, English VA's can work their magic to make it work. This is unlike Naruto, because it's hip and contemporary, and doesn't require obscure translations that don't seem fitting. IMO

I love bleach personally and I like the idea that its finally going to be on tv here. I do agree with the part with the dubbing and the blood and what is going to be kept in or taken out. Im happy with it either way and I hope there isnt much taken out. I do download the series and will continue to. But its a good thing to me.

as a bleach fan im am really upset i can't download it from animesuki anymore, plus a lot of subbers stopped subbing it. but as for when it comes, after seeing viz got it and it's gonna be played on adult swim i not worried about editing. it's the dub that worrys me. but we'll just wait and see. there are some animes that are well dubbed, hopefully bleach will become one of them.

I agree totally, but there has been some dubs thats done very good, BUT the origanal japanese voices are always the BEST.

Eureka Seven turns out to be a good dub. So there are hopes for this one I think. Atleast they are showing it on Adult Swim so not a lot of editing will go on. You can check adultswim.com they have it on their page when they are gonna air it I think.

anime lovers.. well the ones i know.. hate dubbed stuff...
and especially hate dubbed "anime" on American cartoon channels..
naruto all of a sudden became less appealing when little kids started going around trying to do ninjitsu...
