Maybe all of us in a moment sees a manga or anime that in a beginning we think is bad and is just a loose of time (and money), but with time, we see is enjoyable and we continue looking it. In a beginning, I though Ashita no Nadja was a loose of time, but with time, I was interested in the story, and I continue watching it. Do you had a similar experience?

I often come across this phrase-

"Don't judge a book by its cover"

Clearly it means we shouldn't judge anything at first glance before we really know what it is about.

Introductions sometimes could be boring as we're not exposed to the real action, etc. It's very important though, because if we jump straight into the action with lots of questions hanging about it'll be a pain to continue watching it.

As we continue following the story, it'll develop and we'll be curious on what'll happen next and start liking it

When i first watched Fate/stay night, the very first episode was quite boring as there's no real action going on, only the introduction of the main character and what the Holy Grail War is all about. But as soon I reached the 2nd episode everything starts to become real interesting :p

yea... sometimes it happens to me too.when i first watch 'Hachimitsu to Clover', i felt kinda boring. their art & character may not as good as many other anime, but after my friend convinced me, i continued to watch it, and it's become interesting.

the storyline is kinda slow at the beginning but it became better after a couples of episode. pretty good i think. this kind of anime is better than "good at the beginning but become boring in the end's " anime.

I felt the same way about Samurai7. I didn't like the title, I wasn't interested in the story line, and my friend and I muttered, "Not interesting..." when the commercial of that began showing.

But I watched one episode...and I got so engrossed in the graphics, the characters...I just HAD to see more! XD So I thought of it as one of the best I've seen, and I fallen in love with one of the characters there. The end! ^_^'

Bleach... i guess the name kinda put me off... After watching a few episodes it got really addicting =)
then after 40 episodes, i couldnt stop =P

I always watch a few episodes of an anime before judging it.

Well, I didn't really hate it in the beginning, but I wasn't to sure about it, and that would be Scrapped Princess. The first few episodes were alright but I wasn't to sure about whether or not it was worth continuing with. I went ahead with the 2nd release though and the next set of episodes definitely changed my mind and remained consistently entertaining right up until the end and I'm glad I decided to stick with it.

loveless- my friend told me about it wheile we were in kyoto and i just kinda wrote it off until i started seeing all these beautifull wallpapers of loveless charecters. so i looked at a reveiw and decided to download some of the manga and give it a shot... so far i'm actually loving it.

hikaru no go

My first real and raw Anime experience with Mermaid Rock. Now I love it but when I saw it for the first time and in the opening scene where they shoot the guy in the head and splatter his blood all over the snow I was shocked beyond anything I have experienced then and since then. At first I was ill and unable to form words but soon the pain went away and after the feeling of wanting to die vanished I wanted with all of my body another shot of my now very cool and awesome drug. Hate to love in record time now I'm more than just obsessed! AHHHH! I LOVE ANIME SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!

This happened to me several times, specially with Naruto and Bleach... I always told myself not to watch them... but I felt so curious about them that finally watched them and now those are two of my fav animes...

It happened when i first watched One Piece. This style of animation was so weird - those long hands and legs. But now its one of my favourite shows and i think that any other animation wouldnt make this specific one piece atmosphere. You must watch at least few eps to make a conclusion.

Same here, except when I read the plot description, I thought it was a ridiculous idea. My roomates and I watched two or three episodes and became addicted. There was just so much action and the story was pretty interesting too. The idea didn't turn out to be that stupid either.

When I first started watching Scrapped Princess, I thought that it was just going to be another cliche and predictable storyline with stereotypical character types, even though i read the plot line (guess it didn't really sink in). But for some reason the first episode just has me hooked and yearning for more. I think it all started with the opening theme song, it was unbelievably good. After the opening song the graphics, events and personalities of some of the characters just got me thinking and wanting to know what happens next.

Uhh, I remember that I had no interest on Peacemaker Kurogane whatsoever. I thought it was copied from Rurouni Kenshin. But now its my second favorite anime!

btw, the same thing happened to me with Ashita no Nadja. And the opposite happened with Rave Master, i was so happy but when I saw the anime I thought "geez... i lost my time..."

When I first heard about Hikaru no Go, i was so biased against it -_-' , but now I love the series so much XD.
I prefer series that get better or stay consistently good over something that becomes redundant or repetitive after a while.

Same here, the name kind of made me question what it was like. But then I found out many other people like it so I decided to see what it was like. After a few episodes I really thought it was good, and when it got to the soul society episodes I became addicted and it became one of my favorite animes. I went from thinking I would hate it to wanting to by all the mangas and animes :D

it happened to me a lot of time ! Lain, Utena, Angel sanctuary, Rookies, Suikoden III, Tenjo tenge, Black cat... for those i remembered ! ^^

Galaxy Angel...

I picked up volume one in the store, read the back and thought it looked totally stupid and mediocre. Then I DLed an episode out of curiosity a few weeks later and fell in love with it. Now I have plans to buy all 3 complete seasons once they are available for purchase (already got Season Three, first half)

Definitely Samurai 7 and Peace maker Kurogane...and now I love them! at first i didn't like Evangelion...Shinji was a bit much for me to handle...but now I love it!

It was like that for me with Rozen Maiden because it was about dolls... but it became one of my fav anime i've ever watched and also FMA but thats because I was reading the manga first and the beginning seemed reallly boring cuz all they do is talk but when I watched the anime it blew me away like CRAZY!

That's why I see a few episodes before to wonder if is really good or bad an anime, for example, I hated Digimon 3, but the four was the coolest.

I had simliar experience with Eureka 7 I started watching it but lost interest at episode 7 and just said and this anime is crap but read alot of positive things about it and decided to continue with it currently at episode 26 and enjoying it alot really picking up pace now!

Alos thought some anime's were going to be good but ended up crap like X and it's movie! Arrggggghh :(

yes for me, it is mai hime, in the beginning it was so boring..i kinda fall asleep(my bro recommends me about it, saying that it is the best anime for him lol), so i watched, omg, during those fights....betweens himes, make me cant stop..eventually, i finished in 1 night lol
