What's
the greatest Video Game you've ever played and why?

Was it Sonic The Hedgehog, Super Mario,Final Fantasy, Ninja Gaiden or something
else intirely?Who did you know about them? Who long did it take to beat it?
What's the best features about it? I ask this because they're plenty of
exeptionally awesome video games created in the past, and I would like to know
your thoughts on them.
The best game I everplayed was Kingdom Hearts. The gameplay was amazing and I
had so much fun that it's like I became attatched to all the characters. And
man, when it ended... ' If you
would've seen how hard I was crying at the end of Kingdom Hearts, you'd call me
a complete crybaby. I couldn't
help it though, when Riku, Sora, and Kairi were all seperated, it was just
heartbreaking. And that's why I'm waiting for the second game: KH2. I'm ready to
have another crying session and blame it on something stuck in my eye.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I'm pretty sure that soon enough it'll
become Twilight Princess, but for now, Zelda is THE best. Not only did it
involve insane thinking dungeons and action throughout, it also always had
humor, angst, action and adventure, romance, and just a tinge of violence rolled
in one. Besides, the ending always makes your heart ache each time you beat it,
and the graphics are just undeniable for its time.
Tough, Zelda games have to be hign on my list, but I also love the tales series
(specifically Phantasia) and I've played so many games it is too hard to pick
one. That said I thing Twilight Princess might be my answer in however many
months time though.
The greatest game I played is Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. The graphics are
pretty cool and the battle system is just unique and awesome! Okay, the story
was really all that great. But still a cool game ^^
I found this game just browsing through a video game store. Saw it, thought it
looked good, saw that it was created by Square-Enix and thought, I gotta buy
this game.
I've played this game several times over. Must've played it for like over 400
hours since I first got it. It took me a while to beat the game including all
the optional stuff, but still really fun ^^
I just say that the greatest game is the Final Fantasy. All parts of it I've
played. VI, VII, VIII, IX and X.
Its story and music, and its whole atmosphere will draw you in, definitely. I
just say I've spent over 400 hours playing each part! (except for FF VI, I think
I only played about 150-200 hours with it...).
And among all of them the best is FF VII in my opinion. And the most hours I
spent with it. About 1000 hours or so /maybe more/ ^^
Final Fantasy...by far is the greatest console game I have ever played, however
Sonic the hedgehog is was what really got me started playing video games.
You guys aren't going back far enough, except for the guy who started this
thread...think further back...I am thinking back about 10 years ago. To the 1st
3d consoles the PS1 and N64...My most favorite game I ever played was probably
Tomb Raider...that game was absolutely amazing the mystery, the intrigue it was
great...it would give your heart a jump when an animal or a villian would seem
to jump out of nowhere to attack you...it was really something. Along the same
lines of first gen 3d games...Mario 64 and Star Wars Shadows of the Empire. I
swear they probably look ancient now, but at the time I have never seen anything
like them and they really gave you a sense of amazement that something could
look like that...great gameplay. Shadows for me was the first real star wars
experience I enjoyed immensly, to take part in the battle of Hoth was
unbelievable. 3d games just dont make you feel that way anymore, nothing is THAT
amazing any longer, it's all been done it seems...we need something new.
my favorite game would have to be chrono trigger. the story was good, i really
got into the characters, and loved the replayability because of the multiple
endings.
Wow, surprised noone said Halo 2 yet...but the greatest game ive ever played was
Steel Battalion--nothing like a $200, 40+ button controler & foot pedals and
tight mech action. this game rules, almost as much as Red Alert 2: Yuris Revenge
Quote by twilightmageThe best game I

thanx alot twilightmage for coping me .... Just
kidding
I'd have to say kingdom hearts too. It just brought back so many memorys of
being a child and put them into a more mature( not to much) game. i still play
that game from time to time. and i really cant wait till the next one!
lolz you can add me to the kingdom hearts list aswell because it was a really
good game I loved it, the characters, the plot, and also the scenery. lolz cant
wait for numero 2
Well, i think we (me & MegasXLRFanX85) have some similarities.. If you think
back when this video games released out it were probably MORE than 10 years
ago.. I do not own any video games set until now also not owning any PS,PS2 or
even a Game Boy. I just need to borrow my friend's ones and play.. He he..
Luckily we were good friends and they seem not bother too much lending me
anything.. Opps.. Got too far away from the title..
Mm.. first time i played video games was at a nearby shop that sells tv sets and
repaired them. The shop's owner bought a set of video games and he does not have
any child back then. So, he invited me to go and try to play it. I was 6 year
old at that time. My first video games was Sonic The Hedgehog! XP
Everyday after i finished my school lessons i went immediately to the shop just
to play it. I just like a crazy maniac fan of the video games. I would stayed at
that shop till dawn and when the sky getting dark all over i still want to play
it. I just want to play that game.. That was what i thought of..
This craziness continues for a week and one day my mom can't stand my so-called
"odd" behaviour and restricted me from going to that shop again. So,
as time goes by i started to forget bout it. But I WILL remember that video
games that i love the MOST and also the GREATEST video games I ever played..
I really can't pick one, but ot of my say top ten, I'd have to say I like Chrono
Trigger because it had a great cast of characters, someting that very few games
manage to get right these days.
The greatest would have to be either xenosaga or FFX...moment of intenste
thought...okay, it's FFX. Why? It gives you a feeling that no other game does:
the envelopment of your mind into each charater, event, or battle. Plus, it has
awesome cinemas. Other games that really satisfied me were xenosaga, star ocean,
and tales of symphonia.
My favorite game that I have played is Kingdom Hearts. The story line was
awsome. It always left me wondering when he was going to find his friends. Plus
the characters that you could change out with was really cool.

I'm having a hard time choosing between Final Fantasy IX & Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater... They're both just amazing games.
