* The extraction needs a lot of work. It looks like you tried to extract her hair, but then just cut out the rest of her. Extraction is a long, tedious process, but it's necessary before you can begin an chara wall.

* The bg is "filter whore," or mostly made with just filters. That's considered low effort. Also, the text over the entire image obscures the chara. Most wallers begin with filter walls, but you can create more with some exposure to tutorials. imanimetions.net is a good place to start for tutorials.

you really need to work on your extraction of maya...don't try and pass it off as an outerglow...as for your background, it's just one picture that was been copied over again -- you can even see the edges

i would suggest that you create your own background for starters....
