But then again, I wouldn't worry that much in Canada since the gov't has no
reason for banning anime since it's a cultural interest in Japan. If a rebel did
happen in Japan, I'm juz hoping no news reporter or headlines would present any
information about this all acros N. America so we would all be ten times happier
with our lives. Although I wish this would never occur, I was hoping I only have
to experience this feeling once in my life time hmmmm..... or maybe once in my
dream.

these people... Do they think that everything is lollypop and butterflyes? Do
they think that animated films & series and illustrated stories (like manga
and comics) should be just done for little kids? What about adults that love
drawing and pictures? Should they just read/watch lollypops and butterflyes?
But what's the problem with them? Don't they teach their kids when to switch off
the TV? Or do they think the TV is a baby-sitter for kids and so every TV
programm should be like Winnie the Pooh?
If that was so, they should avoid also the news, and every documentary shown on
TV (think about lions' life, e.g.)
I don't think anime or manga should be forbidden. But maybe people should learn
to control themselves... (and thus, their kids). If these people can start a
campaign against Anime, maybe other people should start another one FOR Anime.

Nothing happened in 1950s or enve earlier when there`s no anime, so it maybe the same if now it`s banned...
But in another hand, the home of education minister maybe occupied by angry youths....who knows
