Well I think it's basically okay but maybe you want to consider a change on the
background. I'd try to put a lanscape in there instead of the characters.

I think that she's too bright and colorful comparing to the pale bg. Maybe if
you could bring a little more color to the bg, not much, it would look better

It's pretty...but I think that you shouldn't fade the charas in the back and
make it so it matches Sakura-chan in the front with Mokona! It's pretty bright
too but it's okay! And then maybe try a little bit more "things in the
background"...But keep it up, it's a great concept!

eye. i quite like the background though. but thought maybe you could make it
more.. i dunno but add some more stuff.. yet keep it simple..

I edited the old one and added in more colour plus some new stuff at the top.
Two versions, one without the colour improvement and one with it.
Well, what you could do instead is remove sakura from the grp in the bg, so it's
more like the bg n the char are together, making it seem as though sakura's just
ahead of the grp
ps- remove the manjuu from the grp as well, leaving just the one she's holding:)
The extraction needs more work
Try to blend Sakura more into the background. Maybe a gaussian blur and putting
it behind the scan should be good enough.
Actually, I would recommend you to remove the whole group altogether, make it a
scenic wall. It -should- be better X3
You need to work more on the scan extraction.
I agree on BiNumber3's suggestion, try to make the wallie seems as Sakura is
ahead from the group...and er... try to remove those chibi characs, they're
quite unrelated to the whole design..><.
and one thing, Sakura is too bright compare to the background and the group of
characters.
* The scan extraction is a definite concern, especially around her hair. I
recommend trying the pen tool for those tight spaces.
* The bg...needs a lot of work. What it looks like to me is a character image
pasted on another scan (correct me if I'm wrong ). Unfortunately, that's considered a 5-minute wall. Also, having repeated
images of characters, and those cutouts, is also distracting from the main
image. What I suggest is that you really look into a scenic wall, if that's what
you want. There's a thread by Sheqel on tutorials that you can look into. Some
other good places to start are Imanimetions.net
and goodtutorials.com.

incorporate mutliple images of the characters then try a more artistic style.
Such as having the main character and a flimstrip in the background (I know its
cliche but you got to excuse the lack of ideas now as I'm feeling very tired and
quite brain dead after a full day of work). This is just a way to do it. I'm
sure that you can think for something better.

you are to lazy or are not very good with the pen tool then try the magnetic
lasso(with very steady hands and many intervals though).
Another thing is the circles with the chibi characters in it. It kind of takes
the focus off the main image. It is always good to note that too many elements
in a wall could spoil it. Empty space can be as powerful or even more powerful
than filled space. Of course, everything in moderation.
Great effort on the clouds (you did make them yourself rite).

worked on the scenic one first, hopefully its a lot better. At least from what I
think. x.x And also, I'm using photoplus, it does not have pen tool or the
magnetic lasso <.<

fit, I think you should change the color or something. Besides that, great job!

origninal. I would suggest something instead of text and the Mokona stamp to
balance the wall. I like the idea of feathers. There are several images in the
gallery featuring Sakura's feathers. I think that one of her feathers glowing
softly and then other feathers as part of the background would be much better.
You've made a not-so-good wall into a really downloadable one! EXTRACT and all
shall be forgiven.

better (though i really dunno how. sorry )
- the left side is the slightest bit plain. either add in a new element there,
or make the background there slightly (ever so slightly) stick out
more.

It's much too light colored for my tastes. Very pale, white backgrounds hurt my eyes, so I tend to go for darker colors or more subdued tones.

bad at all. The extraction of her hair is still a bit rough though, and some
ends are cut off.
Hmm, maybe place an outer glow on Sakura as her hair is still fuzzy...I like the new one better than the original...good joB
I would suggest that you re-extract the chara image.
