I can see that your idea was good but it looks like the image has really bad quality. It looks blurry, discolored, and there are jagged lines on the edges in a couple places that make it look like it was sized down poorly. The stars are so similar in size and shape that they look like snowflakes. This isn't a bad concept and I think you could improve it enough to repost it in the gallery.

The scan looks like it had a median filter or something like that (smudging) all over it. If the quality of the scan isn't improved, it still won't make it back into the gallery.

The stars have this ring around them (I have no idea why) and they are of equal brightness. You might want to change the brightness of each star. The stars around Goku's head (the one on the right) concern me the most because stars are meant to be distant in the sky... and they look like they are in front of his head. Or are these fireflies? They will have to blend in much more though.

The main concern is the scan quality though. Find a sharper image of the same thing and re-extract it... or vector I guess ^_^' Overall it's pretty nice composition wise... but it'll need higher scan quality. :D

uuuhhhhhhh~~~ very very blurrrry...makes me kind of dizzy. but it is a great wallpaper! just make it more clear and like kuroimisa said, make the stars different sizes and brightnesses. the stars are also wayy to sharp in contrast to the wall and they dont seem to be part of the wallpaper at all.

Umm .. well there is a prob wif my monitor recently .. the screen is vry vry blur .. so i am not sure whether now the picture is sharp enough or not .. do i still need improvement?

hmm..well, it is little less blurry, but its still pretty blurry. now it seems like you used sharpen in adobe photoshop or something. the image quality looks really bad now too. try duplicating that to see if it makes the image quality a little better. as for the stars, try to make them a little more blended in. They still look kind of un-natural, because the sky is so cloudy, but the stars are so bright. make some of them look like theyre behind the clouds. You should also make the clouds look less blurry. more contrast with the clouds. Maybe add a moon in there and cover it with some clouds.
Heres an example of a night sky from a wallpaper that I made

sorry its not the best...let me see if I can find a better one that goes more with what you are doing...

this wallpaper doesnt have too many clouds, but the sky is a really great example. it looks natural and it fits in with the rest of the wallpaper. I wouldnt recommend as many stars, but try some small speckles in the sky or something to make it look like there are more stars than just the bright ones.

thx for everybody's tips and thx starrliteangel for showing me some others nice wallpaper :D .. it gives me a lot of new ideas :) .. so wat do u think of this wallpaper now? I texturize it this time .. does is still need more improvements?

I think the texture helps to disguise the image quality a bit definately. The smaller stars still look like they are in front of the clouds though. Try placing them on the background layer instead of the layer with the clouds? I like the colours and the layout though. Keep it up I'm sure it will be an excellent wallie when it is done. ^_^*

umm .. kuzoku, i don't really get what you mean about the stars bit .. hehe :)

The filter texture makes the image look very pixellated, which lowers the quality. Perhaps you could overlay a texture instead.

does it looked better without it being texturise?

Ok if you look to the right of the wallie around the middle there is a few little stars, to me it looks like they are pasted onto the wallie, it doesnt seem to be far away like stars should be. Just a thought. ^_^*

So .. is this wallpaper better than before or does it still need more improvement?

The base image is really just too low quality to wall. Perhaps you should try finding a higher quality scan.

I have to agree with bluSake. I do like the image is hard to see the image. The star look like shoot star or metor shower. Maybe if you have higher quality scan the image will be better.

oh yeah, I not sure why it there an moon and cloud (or is fog) there. I thought they were just looking at the star.
