The first ever Manga I purchased was Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles' first volume.
Its got one of those storylines that has captivated me, and now, I'm fully
up-to-date with the volumes, according to UK standards. We've currently got up
to Volume 8, and I'm aiming to get the 9th, as soon as I see it in my local
Anime/Manga store.
And my first manga was the simpliest Dragon Ball and when i compare Akiras T.
fight-drawing skills to others i can say only one thing- he really knows his job
It was Saint Seiya. The first time I found I was attricted bu it. I can`t
believe that there would be a manga so great! well in current times it would
look like outdated, but it was the first manga i saw, and influenced me
seriously, and changed me a lot. At least now I like read manga
My first manga was Bio-Booster armor Guyver. Unfortunately, they discontinued it
here in the US (a long time ago). I hope they get it back soon, it was a good
series.
Death Note, my brother got vol 1 for his birthday and I and about 50 other
people read it, seriously I couldn't put the dammed thing down. Then I went and
bought vol 3-4 which were just as enthralling. Not I play the waiting game,
since vol 5-11 aren't serialised yet and I can't be bothered importing from the
US.
it was chobits. my friend was talking about manga so much i just had to try it.
there really wasn't much of a selection when i got tot he store. the only other
manga that looked good was bleach but i had just started the anime. then i saw
chobits, looked interseting so i got it. only 8 vols a good statring manga. to
this day i still think it's the best.

the first manga i bought was ranma 1/2... wow... that was sooooo long ago!
mine was erm Slam Dunk haha then it was fruit baskets that caught my attention....
