I was just thinking about the dangers of having a male coach for a female sports
team. I mean some girls could be raped or killed...just stuff like that. This is
an out-of-the-blue question. So, what's your opinion?

lets c if thy now what thy are do wing then yes if not then no it depands on the
sport ur takeing about i mean ya ur right that cood happen or something lol
i dont think theres a problem with it. i doubt anything is going to happen since
there are other people around so the teacher wont be able to do anything. none
of them would be alone anyways and if the teacher tries something the team could
just get him away from the person easily since they have alot in numbers.
My little sistes softball coach is a guy, but I don't think he could hurt anyone
if he wanted too, probalbly why he got the job.
I reckon it is okay, as long as they are properly screened first to check if
they are suitable for the position, as to avoid hiring perverts and worse.
TSPhoenix is correct; for any kind of job, the employer always does a screening
for the potential employee, a background check, in order not to take any chances
with the saftey of kids. If the coach in question is chouvanistic or
mysoginistic or something, and practices those gross misconceptions, then I
doubt he'd be able to handle being around all these powerful females:). Other
than those issues, I think, if the coach is trying his hardest to help,
encourage, and support the team, then there shouldn't be too much trouble with
it.
as long as the guy isn't a douche bag, then sure. if he's the type that will
touch little girls, then no. but the same could be said about anyhting involving
girls and guys.
As long as the coach does not have any personal relationship with the girls, I
think its fine. After all, advice is advice, no matter who gives it. Also, rape
or killed? I think that is very unlikely.
I personally would think it would be fine so long as the coach knew what he was
doin.....i mean different genders may push some aspects that may be
overlooked...who really knows.....but i do beleive the person cant have a bad
background or anything....i mean there are some awful people out there

I think girls have a special six sense, and they come to know what is the
teacher or any other guy are up to. We cannot say wether a man of that kind or
not. So, we can't without even knowing him just blame him or something like
that.... Being a teacher is his profession and his livlihood. But. if a student
is incomfortable in his presence then he/she should immediately
inform his guardian.
Their r so many guys out there. But all of them r not the same. Maybe the are
involved or vice-a-versa.

Yeah, don't see why there should be a problem with it. Schools usually know who
they hire. And I really doubt a teacher would try something. He would be either
a perv or an idiot. I mean, I know that a healthy male is horny sometimes, but I
think watching young girls sweat (haha that sounds weird) is enterteining enough
for him in those moments. I mean, unless he's not an idiot/perv, he won't try
anything with teenage girls (he propably has a wife...) in his workplace. Beside
since he's not a kid anymore, I think he can get sex matters out of his head at
work.
I play lacrosse and our coach is a male, and he's really good and he pushes us
super hard so that we can out run all the other teams (dunno if that's a guy
thing or just coach tho...:S) but yea he's an awesome coach and we won the
championship last year
It only depends on a coach. Some man can be high specialists in woman training.
For example the trainer of polish national woman volleyball team. Thanks to his
hard work we won the euro- championship.

can find rarely a woman coach for a sports team..., I dont know why, but if a
man should do it , it doesnt matter, as long as he has a good attitude and such

It all depends on who the person is. Thats why the coach gets a background check. Though some slip through...most dont.

Female coaches are capable of abuse as well; regardless of the gender of the team.
