For me personally, I do both. I like a lot of the English voice actors and it's
fun to recognize their voices from one anime to another. I like to do Japanese
because sometimes the English voices don't fit the characters as well and
sometimes it can be funnier.
i prefer to watch in the original japanese. i think most of the time alot is
lost in translation to english. and also most of the time i hate the english
voice actors
i'd go with warriormars on this one, truth be told - i kinda hate when the
anime's english subbed, really annoys me because most english actors dont put
the same emotion as the japanese ones do, and there's something seriously wrong
with the way they get into the characters, it's more slobbery than emotional
depends on how well the synchro is done. Concerning Detective Conan for example
I like both, the Japanese and the German version (I haven't any animes in
English).
Considering FAKE on the other hand I prefer the original Japanese for the same
reason REDkeith mentioned. German actors don't put the same emotion in it. It
doesn't really fit to the character.
I would only watch English-dubbed anime if it was the only thing available, and
still hate it.
The reason is that the Japanese language has equal length sounds when compared
to english, and that Japanese voice-actors/actresses show a lot of emotion in
their words (It's so powerful that they feel like they themselves are the
characters). When it comes to English, the voice just kills the characters. I
find less emotion in the words and the dub feels weird.
I like them both but if I hade to pick it would be English only for the fact
thet I can just wach it and not pay any attention on the suptittels more than
the movie
But it is cool in Japanese because it is in its origenal language.
I prefer the japanese version. I just saw Naruto in english, and that
"Believe it" thing annoyed me. I don't think I'll ever see anime in
english again.
I prefer watching them in japanese but with english subtitles 'coz i don't
understand japanese. and besides, hearing the japanese version makes me feel the
anime more.
i prefer to watch anime in japanese. it's the original! when the seiyuu is
different, comparing it with the original,it really sounds weird...
yes,just like Tatsumi09 said,japanese seiyuus shows a lot of emotion..it suits
the character more.
i'd rather watch anime in japanese WITH subtitles rather than watching it in
english .
I like them both, but half the time i don't even notice what language its in,
i've been reading subtitles since i could read and watched tv ;p
anyways when i started anime which was last year, i ended up watching abit of
anime straight (like 2 weeks of nearly no sleep [except in class of course]) so
its like this now, even those they are speaking english i barely notice, if they
are speaking japanese i barely notice, it gets translated with help of subs...
really i swore i had a certian anime in english but it turned out to be entirely
japanese....
but if i had a choice it'd be in jap with eng subs ;p can't go wrong with the
original right? ;p [not talking about subs ofcourse]
Original Japanese for me. Firstly, I find that the voices sound better. As in,
they either have more feeling or their voice fits with that certain character to
a near perfect state. English dubs are on the other hand do not have the same
appeal to me. Obviously there are good dubs like cowboy bebop, but these quality
dubs are really rare. In the end, because of lip sync, feeling and entuasism,
i'd say Japanese audio.
I really like English, but I don't mind Japanese either. I like English because
you can pay more attention on what's happening in the episode instead of trying
to read the subtitles and watch the show. But for those who don't like dubbed
because they think it takes away from the original story line. You must also
remember that anime is the rip-off version of manga which is the true story
line. And in anime's like sailor moon, they completely changed the Sailor Stars
series when they made the anime. So knocking dubbed or people who like to hear
thing in their own language is just not fair.
same here. i go both ways on this. i like the english because then i can
actually afford to look and see whats happening in the without missing what the
caption says because i can understand japanese. but i like japanese becuase it
the original version and the english verison tends to cut things out and it
makes it kinda more confusing at times.
To my in the particular thing loves me to listen to it in Japanese (with
subtitles in spanish for sure), because I love their expressions for sorprise
and those so characteristic noises of Japoneses.. to describe very well in the
story. I also love their honor and responsibility. It´s very
authenticate

Both are ok for me, so long the Japanese versions got english subtitles.. :P

Japanse, dubs almost always suck. I always get the "8 'o clock news" feeling when listening to dubs.
I'd prefer the japanese version, I dont have to worry about some of the voice overs if its going to be good or bad.

I prefer Spanish, they have the best dubbing in the work, the voice fits perfect in the character, you just must hear Shin-chan and Luffy.

yea, I prefer more japanese than english, a lot of reason to prefer it because I feel it's more real to me....
I don't really care the subbing, because I can understand japanese, so basically I hate dubbing, I hope no anime will be dubbed anymore...

japanese plz. omg, dubbed anime sucks. it sounds so deceptive. english is no go for anime.

Japanese w/ subtitles....I guess since they get the wackiest voices these days for dub. Gundam Wing dub and Tenchi Muyo was acceptional tho.
mostly i tune to japanese verison as mostly they seem to be alot better then english verison
Japanese version with english subtitles is the best
. English
dubbed sounds can be freaky at times!
