Okay, this thread is to tell all those who complain about their items being
deleted what to do, instead of just complaining about it. Hopefully they'll
start getting pro-active about things and stop complaining/flaming the mods and
botChii. Maybe the mods will be given a break too...

If your scan got deleted
Carefully read the reason why your scan was deleted.... dont just disregard the
reason too, thinking the bot has a bug, because it's the mods who do the
deleting and reason giving, not the bot.

not official artwork, it belongs in the Artists gallery, not the series gallery.
If you find the other post, compare quality yourself, if yours has a greater
quality than the other scan, re-submit it and say in the description that yours
is of better quality than the second scan, and post the second's URL in the
discription too.

There's not much you can do about this. Just remember, in gallery and forums
posts, you can only post in the English language, you cannot be abusive and you
cannot spam. Also, if your post is out of context (does not follow the thread's
topic or is not a comment about the gallery item), it will be deleted.
And here's one for threads alone. Your thread will be closed if is a double of
a currently active thread, it will be closed (thanks again Sheq).
If you were banned
Don't complain about it in the forums, there's a link in the support section
called Support Inquiry. There's a feild for ban inquiries there. Keep in mind
though, the mods will tell you why you were banned in your Guest Book.
If I didn't cover the reason why something happened to youe, tell me and I'll
try to help.

Is it sad that I'm used to getting ripped? Well, generally for layouts, but
occasionally wallpapers, too... I even have a pretyped message... I just have to
fill in the URL and contact information of the ripper... and click
"Send" =__=;
People usually find my rips for me... Saves me some work -,-;

what if the anime wallpaper i submitted was high quality because i scanned it at
hi-res from an artbook. then i prettied it up and added simplistic
background...... although i liked it a lot, how come bot chi doesnt
is the background have to be super fancy ? because i believe not all spaces in
a piece of work need to be covered with colors........
This is already discussed in the FAQ. For wallpapers we employ a quality AND
effort rule. This is to porotect the site from indiscriminate leeching. I
suggest you go read the submission and submitting section of the FAQ in the
support section.

common sense to figger it out himself. Its just that when one of our works gets
deleted, its like having a child deleted, and some of us fly into a blind
rage..... I know, for I am one of those people. Only 2 wall submited, one got
flaamed for being too simple, the other deleted for being echii... Ah well...

I've read through all the various reasons I've been given, but I honest
to God think that I conformed within all of the guidelines: It was over
the minimum size limit; had at least 300dpi; wasn't pornographic or
suggestive; I fully creditted where it came from; and although it was
*mostly* monochromatic, there was more to it than just greyscale (i.e.
highlighted colours for effect).
So, I guess my question is... who do I turn to in order to find out?
After all, Botchii isn't a real person, so they wont give me an answer,

It's worrying to think that one scan that is of exactly the same size
and standard as all my othershas been picked off. It leaves me
paranoid, thinking that my entire back catalogue of submissions is
about to wiped away, when I've not had any problems with it before
And I wont carelessly just resubmit it. Under no circumstances wil I do

There are 2 possible reasons why your scan was deleted.
The first one, is it could already have a superior duplicate posted.
The second reason, and possibly the real reason, is that the character was
monochrome. When the user policy talkes about scan specifications, it bassicly
applies to the character within the scan first, then the rest of the scan. This
is because when people go to use teh scan, they might not use any effects used
within it, and just use the character. So if you had a monochrome character
within a coloured scan, it will be deleted.

As I said, you must read the
userpolicy and the multiple dubious reasons as to why your wall was deleted. The
mods have made it this way so that people will actually read the user policy and
learn the all the rules, rather than just be warned off doing one thing. This
method also prevents people from getting banned from making another, completely
different mistake. Read the userpolicy, match the polilcy's rule with your wall
and find a clash. If you still cant find a clash, post a support inquiry.

What if your wall was deleted for ripping but it wasn't true? I had done a
Mayama vector from a Honey and Clover screencap and botChii sent me a message
saying it was being deleted for ripping? I was never approached by mod or
anything for proof of work. If a piece gets deleted for sucking, well them's
the breaks but to be accused of stealing?
