An anime movie by ghibli studio published at the late 80s(88 to be exact)
It's a highly dramatic story about two children that loose their parents near
the end and the the aftermath of WWII in japan. It's greatly animated for it's
time and the overall is great(musc, chars etc).
I suggest it to those who haven't seen it.
The most dramatic anime ever created. I haven't seen it yet, but I will soon
definitely (after all, I had the opportunity to take this movie recently). Show
these movie to a non anime fan in order to show them how "childish"
anime are. Have they ever seen this kind of stories on Disney's cartoon movies?
I don't think so! Hail to Hayao Miyazaki!!!
Btw, this movie has been ranked to the 3rd place at the Top 10 Best Rated Anime
in AnimeNewsNetwork.com
One of my favourite movies... it is really, really cool. That poor child... when
I saw it for the first time, I almost cried. Thinking about it still make me
sick. Definitely... one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen, but also
one of the most cruels.

I've seen it already. I'm not hte type that like dramatic stories, but it was quite good.
I didn't like the music in it though.
