or if you can guide me step-by-step I would appreciate that even more!! XD
thanks a lot in advance

http://www.clearlypixelated.com/vector/ try this one out, there's some tutorials there :D

thanks a lot...! :D
that's an awesome site!

anyone else? XD

Heh, not me. XD I was going to give you Tama-Neko's site as well.

Thanks a lot for the link...
now (at last) I can do vectoring easily (but not hastily)... :D
but instead of using Illustrator, I am using CorelDRAW... because I'm not familiar at all using Illustrator...

the result is somehow satisfying (IMO)... after about 8 hours of pencil and shape tool
check it out here :

and this is the finished wallpaper :

if anyone interested in having the original .cdr vector file (CorelDRAW format)... send me as message or e-mail, I would gladly send it to you...
the original newtype scan can be found in MT's gallery...

again, domo arigatou gozaimasu~
any suggestions on the next anime chara to trace? XD

There is both a Photoshop tutorial and an Illustrator tutorial at the ausanime forums: http://www.ausanime.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=21

that's just what I need...
*bows to vector-sensei*
