I think the first anime I saw was either Sailor Moon or Dragonball..when I was around 6 or 7 probably..?

my first was Akira. then a few years later Sailor Moon was what got me really into anime.
actually i just remembered when I was a kid there were these Mecha animes on tv that i used to watch but I can't remember them or what they were called but i used to love watching them. and there was astro boy which i never liked...and of course Battle of the Planets was huge when i was in elementary school. so many memories!

I think the first one I must have seen was Dragon Ball Z. I used to think that anime was so great but after seeing so many other and in my opinion better anime I dont really like it that much anymore.

My first ones, I'd have to say, way before I even got hooked onto anime and knew it was called as such, would be Ninja Robots, Yaiba, Saint Tail and Akazukin Cha Cha... At least that's the earliest I can remember, a little way after I started school... And after four years I grew anime-obsessed because of RK, NGE, Saber Marionettes, Jester, Super Doll Lilika, FOR, MKR, Hell Teacher Nube and Master of Mosquiton...

My first taste of anime would have to be transformers and voltron, not sure if they count. XD Later on in life I eventualy watched a few eps. of NGE and my love of anime grew from there. :D

But at that time I didn't know they where animes...
