Google is a good place to look for tutorials for this type of thing. I found one that might be what your looking for here http://biorust.com/index.php?page=tutorial_detail&tutid=19 and there are some other tutorials for this kind of thing here http://www.tutorialized.com/search.php?s=Metal+Effect&id=1&x=0&y=0 Cancel

Hmmm maybe I should of stated alittle bit more. what Im looking for is a way to make my mettle look like real metal. if you see in my sig all I have is gray with beveled edges for the top and bottom I would like to make more techy looking XD I hope that helps Cancel

For better metal fx, try combining lightning fx such as "blue omni" but changing color, plus a artistic filter like plastic wrap and, last but not least, layer modes color burn, screen, lighten or hue, for example.... the "polar coordiantes" filter would be very useful tough....
