Can you consider this a rip off? This one's from AO

Right is my wall, Our Own Little Place and the other by another person. Not really sure..The char is not mine, but I recged some parts of her...so..is it?

Hmm i wouldnt say so really unless they drew the girl, just like using a scan really. You changed the background and some other effects. Different wallpapers id say *smiles* Bound to have some similar wallpapers sometimes.
I see..so its okay to extract chars from other's people's wall? ^^

hmm...well...i can't say...but i guess it's just the scan which got ripped...the background, is probably made by himself...but i must admit i used to do that too...extract characters from wallpapers and use them to make my own...i guess some ppl started making wallpapers like that XD including me...so i guess it's up to you to tell if its a rip or not...

It's possible he didn't know you re-CGed it, as you didn't mention that in the description, so he probably just figured the character alone was up for grabs. I don't think you're overreacting, though. I re-CG a lot of stuff and I'd be peeved if I saw it floating around. :)
Well i didnt mean it was ok for them to steal the char from your wall... but if they got it from the scan as well dont see harm.
