Now that the ranting is done... anyone know how to fix scractches? I really can't afford to get a new copy. I don't think I can exchange for a new one either... *grumbles and kicks something hard only to cause hurt and humiliation*

Oh, um...sorry about your um...predicament.Hope you feel better soon. But i've found that a CD polish works fine on games as well.

Thats really too bad, i hope your day goes better! To get the scratch out just use a cd polisher like neriko suggested. Those seem to work really well for any disk. :)

Some electronics stores like RadioShack and probably FutureShop carry this scratch-doctor thing, and it only costs a few bucks to save your CD/DVD/game. I'd consider buying that, you might be able to fix it ^_^

You might contact the manufacturer of the game... I think some of them are willing to exchange your damaged disc for a new one.

Music is my Boyfriend.

Try a disc repair kit. You can get them at places like Radio Shack, possibly best buy, and I know they sell them at Sam Goody.

Toothpaste; that's what I use.. <__<;; :: Cough. :: But that really sucks, that's why I don't put the PS2 on a table, but on the floor.. ;x

man that sucks... i've had one of those days myself, and one time, (well, actually this just happened yesterday) i broke my favorite badminton racket, and there was another time when i had fallen down almost headface to the floor and my legs were numb, and i almost crashed into those -feeling- high and mighty seniors...
and yeah, i do it like Nakayori... put the PS2 on the floor or, like, inside the shelf under the tv...

i'm no expert on repairing cratched games or anything. but here's a tip, it's best to put your ps2 on the floor, just make sure it's well secured. i say this because i stubbed my toe on the corner of my sister's ps2. it was extremely painful, take my word for it.

later, make sure the wire or the ps2 put in the better way so u cannot step or got catched by the wire. ;_; i know that was ur bad day... * hug and cry with atrhun*

CD Doctor or Disk Doctor, best thing I've seen that can remotely fix things like that....otherwise to be honest ='( I don't know how, I've tried alot of ways that have been randomly floating around on the net but they've never worked. Sorry Athrun, gah thats happened to me far too many times and I'm real good about my games, just that my friends aren't. I'm too nice and lend them out :_:.

Actully, you can go to some tech store also and get a special kit for cleaning up disks, OR go to a specialist if you can find one at the store.
