The logical answer would be "5 men and 6 hours", since it would be "half" of the first.
But, since this is a "trick ques.", who knows!

Don't mind my other post - The answer is that there is no such thing as half a hole - so it's logically impossible here. You can't dig half a hole - so it's not possible indeed.

there is no "half a hole" unless u limit how low u were aiming for
eg. say u wanna dig a hole 1metre low, but u got tired and only did half,... 50 cm
