I would consider it since anime and manga characters usually have cooler names than Bob, but it would be at teh discretion fo the significant other of the relationship.

It depends what culture you're from really. I'm chinese so I wouldn't give my child a japanese name.

Hmmm...Sakura is a nice name. I'd say Sakura for girl and...hmmm...boys names are tougher to decide on.
Either Shinji or Li (as in Li Sayoran from Cardcaptors).

But anyways, maybe Ritsuka for the boy. Or Negi for the boy. ^_^
The girl? I always had trouble thinking of a girl's name. Probably Kazumi or Yukari then.

Great question!! I've been thinking about this the other day and I thought, if I have a kid one day (which I definitely will) what shall I name it?
I've already decided that if I have a boy, then I'll name him Syaoran XD and if I have a girl then she'll be called Sakura. :nya:
But if I have three boys (which I hope not) then the eldest will be called Syaoran, the second eldest will be named Yuki...and the youngest will be called Kyo....haha... ^_^'This signature violates the signature guidelines, thus it has been removed.

Well, I don't think that any of the anime/manga names would fit the kids.

My daughter's name is Kairy, me and my husband loved Kingdom Heart and Kairi is so adorable and cute and we like how her name sound so we name her Kairy but I change the last "i" for "y". I think it looks better and make no different in the pronunciation.
