i prefer pc coz ps2 is so clasic plus i hate the square, circle, whatever idea that is.....or maybe because we don't have ps2...hehehe

Uhmmmm im an old Gamers....and played many and many systems...but for me the PC is a different world from consolle, the type of games is very different.

If you like hack and slash & japanese style games the ps2 is a good choice but if you like big games with a strong playability (Bloodlines, Simulation, big RPG) then the pc is the best...unless when the game need a patch :P....World of Warcraft on Ps2? Lol

PS2 is great for action games and platform games, but not so good for real-time strategies (e.g. Command and Conquer). If teh controls controller setup is decent, PS2 can be really good for FPS too. But I usually play FPS and RTS games on my PC, and save the rest for the PS2.
Unless you have one of those crappy looking game controllers for the PC, I wouldn't recommend playing anything other than FPS or RTS on the.
Also, I updated my PS2, and not it's on of those sleek looking and totally awesome slimline ones. ^^

Well, overall I think I'm more of a fan of the PS2 and games. I like the fact it's ust put disc in and play instead of having to fiddle with the installation and find the right mic of detail and smooth running.

True. You get less errors and crashes but you can't beat the versatility of the PC. I also find that games tend to be better developed and have more features on the PC. Exception of halo which didn't have co-op mode grrrrrrrr.

I think Ps2 is the Best one for Japanese RPGs like FF or StarOcean.I only prefer the Pc for Strategie Games like C&C or RPGs like Sacred or Diablo.I think Games like Grandia 2 or Final Fantasy 7 or 8 dont belong to the PC.Its more fun to play them on a Consolle.

Any of them has their advantages and flwas.
PC is the best for First Person Shooters, racing games. It is alot easier on me to play these kinda of games with a keyboard, and you fell more confortable playing them on a PC Display.
Then PS2 for soccer, action and RPG Games. However in the end, it´s also the games that are available to theses platforms that decide which one to buy or not to buy. Preferably, for RPGs anyone would choose PS2 becuase of the lack of thos type of games on the PC

well i think the Ps2 is good but i also like the Pc you can do lots of things with it. there are also some cool games for the Pc and Ps2 so i will go for 50/50 on the gaming capacity on that ;)

i prefer PC, you can always Upgrade i to get better gaming performance, not like PS2, being a kick ass machine, is a fixed one, you cannot upgrade it in anyway adn games are made for it ;)

I think pc will be the overall choice because the graphics and power of the pc is becoming better and better as time goes by....

Tho i am impressed with what the ps2 is capable of with its capacities. For example, gran turismo 4 just looks plain awesome and the graphics are just blind blowing.

Err, I disagree on this. If you are looking for machine with the widest variety of titles then the PC > PS2. Probably the only category that actually lacks on the PC's side is the "beat 'em up" one, on the other hand there are categories like RTS games, mmorpg which are really dominant for PC. And let's not forget about fps... it's really painful to play an fps with a console, the mouse+keyboard combo is by far best and most comfortable one. So yes I root for PC as a gaming platform :)

I prefere pc for the most part. I am going to buy a ps2 this spring break because ps2 has games that do not come for pc. Like gran tursimo, naruto fighting game, etc. Also if u have friends over usally one person can play on the computer but with a console u can play with atleast 2 friends at the same time and they are usally quick enough so u can switch. So everyone has fun.

PC it's a any game,..... playstation,.... i don't know,... it's juz feels better,... when u play on PS2 for me,..... sometimes its betta to play PC coz then u get bored with PS2 games quicker

The big thing is like many have said they play different games. When it comes to capacity in power though, the PC is completely unmatched. The thing about installation and settings, well a lot of PC users enjoy that form of customization. I, myself, couldn't live without both; I can't play a FPS with a controller, and I can't play many RPGs on a PC.

They both have their strengths. My biggest complaint with the PS2, XBox, GameCube, etc. is they lack customization, such as resolution, multiple interfaces (controller, Controller/keyboard combo, Mouse/Keyboard). With that said, most console games are more polished when they come out, because they simply can't upgrade it.

For PC (or Macs for me now since it's the newer system), my complaint is basiclly , the endurance of the controllers. Other than the mouse and keyboard, the peripherals like gamepads, joysticks, etc. just don't last long in my hands. THe second big complaint with PC (not Mac games) is that they tend to be unfinished. On the other hand, PC/Mac games can have player made levels which add to the game playing experience. Blizzard has no complaints from me, their updates for Diablo 2 and Warcarft 3 enhance the gaming experience. And Unreal (Tournament/Championship) is a fav of mine too. The only FPS I don't get motionsickness with (Rendering engine issues).
